An amazing classic that Bethesda will probably never out-do with any future Fallout game. I highly recommend you buy this and Fallout: New Vegas "Ultimate Edition" with all DLCs.

Then you install a mod called "Fallout: Tale of Two Wastelands", which combines both Fallout 3 and New Vegas into one massive adventure by porting Fallout 3 to the updated New Vegas engine, while fixing thousands of bugs and adding many improvements. It is the best way and only way to play Fallout 3. You can also add many great mods made for this combined version of the game to improve your experience even greater.

Thanks Ligea, glad I could help. Fallout TTW took many years of work, and it is still being worked on and improved to this day.

This comment was extra helpful, I had a Keanu moment going "Woah", when I thought yeah using NV engine to fix 3 sounds like an interesting way to fix 3, though kinda bad that it's assumed we'll fix this issue ourselves. But, I never would have thought of that, but makes sense.

Yeah, thats what i did, it was the only way i could get it to run
