The Dark Souls of insanity-driven, highly customizable sandbox games.

The Dark Souls of buggy, unbalanced, overhyped messes, but the characters and story are quite good. I base my reviews not on my enjoyment (I do enjoy playing Cyberpunk 2077), but on whether the game holds up to what the game is described as by the developer. And this is simply not the game CDPR promised us, so players looking for a game like what CDPR described won't find it here, thus the negative rating.

Nominated for Game of the Year steam awards thingy award, for the simple reason of where it got from where it started.
Still being improved to this day, and soul and heart being put into it, this is a prime example of how to remake, release and constantly give to the community with updates a game, that lures people in with nostalgia and makes them stay with a 100% good game. Wish I had more time to play it, but one day I'll have it played through, I hope.

Been some time since I played this, but I'm bored so I just write reviews for my most played games.
I mean, it is what it is and everyone knows what it is.
I'll just give it a rating and tell you to try mods, can't say anything that hasn't been said.

Very nice and good looking city building game with an emphasis on preventing and combating problems from the inside and outside, and executes this nearly perfectly.
Game stability and performance slightly meh, for a rig that runs Witcher 3 on max everything at 80 fps.
Also, really unforgiving for even tiniest missclicks which is quite frustrating at some times.

Not a game per se, just something you run like thrice per day to press some buttons, but it can give a little dopamine boost to just see some numbers go up. Just don't expect a game to entertain you, expect a little "nice" every once in a while throughout your day.

This game is what happens if you just let someone with a vision do their thing.
The impossible combination of eerie, terrifying and glorious music, a phenomenal artstyle, a story to haunt several night- and daydreams polished up with just solid gameplay is what gives this game the masterpiece tag it so rightfully deserves.
