There is a reason why you cant buy this on its own; Repentance is a genuine 3rd Isaac game, the first and second dlc don't really add that much; bar greed mode and it's necessary completion for item unlocks.. Hooray.

Really fun game including all DLC and even mods, there is one guy complaining about armor scaling on endgame bosses, and even recommending people play the vanilla game instead because of it. while the fact he can't survive a bullet hell for longer than 5 seconds is cool and all, i want to talk to you about the real issue, to get items i have to play on greed mode or cheat. Greed mode sucks; it just isn't fun. 5000 new rooms were added in the DLC and nothing done to greed mode. I understand why a secret character would have a ridiculous requirement like 1000 greed donations, but Eve's active item being hidden until you get halfway there just wasn't really thought about very much by anyone involved before it was reintroduced. In flash TBOI to unlock it you had to defeat the penultimate boss of the game as Eve once, taking about 20-30 minutes provided you didn't die. In afterbirth it was reintroduced as a reward for the greed donation machine, which is spawned at the end of a 10-20 minute greed mode run. Since this machine can jam and break, meaning regardless of how many coins you saved up it's time to do the exact same thing again, and the chance to do so increases per coin added (permanently on a per character basis up to 20% on normal and 1% on hard), I'm not proud to say but reading this on the wiki after an hour of greed mode i immediately cheated the unlock.
