There's so many things unique and interesting about this game that I don't think my review here can do it justice. So many factors into what makes this my favorite VR game - be it the movement, the desolate and lonely feeling the world gives off, or the exploration and slowly figuring out what to do. I found out about this game from a friend long after it came out, with the only element known about it being that it was momentum based and didn't give two hoots about motion sickness, (right up my alley.) When I boot it up, the hushed synths and quiet atmosphere of the world brings me back to the earlier times of VR where every game seemed to have a distinct lack of people. A very lonely, desolate, strong feeling that Jet Island takes and amplifies. In Singleplayer, there are no people you're fighting beside. You are a one man army, taking down these faceless creatures and conquering the island for yourself. No one asks you at the beginning of the game to go find some random gemstone, no big evil army to fight - just a big world for you to explore. And you decide that you need to leave no stone unturned; To find every monster on this island and destroy them. Jet Island is going into the jungle and swinging across vines, riding down the river, and conquering the jaguar.
