Yes Your Grace appears to me as more of Majesty-type of story driven game after one hour of playtime, much less being a simulation or strategy. Not exactly what I was looking for - but nevertheless I applaud the effort and will see how the game will progress. The pixel art style is very well done as is the musical score, and here's hope the increasingly tedious running-around-times can be a bit more streamlined and the story will become a little less linear with decisions that actually matter.

With Gathering Storm, Civilization 6 has become so much better, it's just amazing. The Vanilla version at some point bore me out and I went back to other Grand Strategy games, but GS really added so much flavor and map generation so that every playthrough just feels completely different, and so do the civilizations themselves. Keep going, Firaxis!

Early Access Review
The game is doing everything right in terms of different strategies deciding for victory or defeat, while cutting the ressource management and basebuilding in favor of more pace in the game. It's also refreshing that the factions are balanced by having different strengths or weaknesses than a pure mirrored factions approach.
It also runs remarkably well for an early access version, with patches and insights coming weekly, often incorporating player feedback. Now let's just wait for the single-player missions and a better tutorial and I may just double my game time.

Who am I kidding, I'm hooked anyways. Multiplayer and theorycrafting about the defense mode is just too addicting for any armchair general.
