The Game has potential to become good or even great but its just soo far away from that.
Even Weeks after EA start it still runs extremely unstable with constant game crashes and dc's.
At the moment i would suggest to wait months before trying this game out. The content that is out atm is alright and enjoyable for around 20 hours i would say, after that it becomes a braindead grind.
I recommend to check this game out eventually but not now better wait half a year or so

As i'm writing this review the game is out for ~1 Month and i have average playtime of ~9 hours a day.
I do dailie chores on 6 Characters and my highest character has 1360 Gearscore (the entry level of the latest released content is 1370 Gearscore).

I can highly recommend this game, I played a lot of mmorpg's before and prolly have cumulative playtime of
~20k active hours in the genre (most comming from Guild Wars 2), still Lost Ark feels the most polished out of all the games i played before.

Even if i praise this game, i still have issues with the game.
The release schedule feels completely rushed from Amazon Games.
At the moment the game is divided into 3 Tiers, the game released with all three Tiers unlocked from the beginning. Thus playing threw tier 1 and 2 is completely rushed and feels pointless since I (and probably the majority of the playerbase) wanted to reach endgame asap.
After reaching Tier 3 you could relax a little bit, but really only for a little bit since new content was released fast with a really high Gearscore requirement (1370 that is).

Tbh i would say i play a lot and i'm confindent in saying that it was not possible to reach 1370 gearscore without throwing money at the game or playing fulltime. If you would play this game after work for a couple of hours after work "only" i estimate you would need months to reach 1370 gearscore and you will always stay behind since new content will release aswell.

Players who played on the Russian Servers before always praised this game to me as F2P friendly but imo this is not the case. The true treasure lies in the cash shop.

I generate only 1/5 of my materials threw playing the game, the other 4/5 of the materials i use come from the cash shop. To be fair you can exchange in game currency into cash shop currency but it is really really hard to keep up with farming gold to convert it into cash shop currency to buy all the stuff that you want.

Goldsellers and Botting is an issue aswell what makes it harder to farm gold aswell since the gold you can generate naturally can not keep up with the inflated prices.

The ranked PvP in this game is normalized and rewards dedication and practice heavily and feels really rewarding if you aim to improve at it.

The issues i listed are quite big but the game is still a masterpiece in my eyes and i will keep playing the game for hopefully a long time and can definitly recommend it.

Really enjoyable game if you are fine with weaker, anime style graphics . Arguable pay 2 win.
