Honestly a refreshing take on the MOBA genre. No farming for twenty minutes just to have half the team ragequit, just raw action. It's a real shame that the player base just isn't there for this one

Hades' refreshingly original roguelite progression system is seamlessly woven into a compelling story line. Every advancement, item, and feature serves it's own mechanical and thematic purpose perfectly. Obtaining a blessing from Artemis feels like you have the power of the hunt at your back. Dionysus is homie through and through, while Dusa is the tsundere gorgon head you've always dreamed of. This game motivates its players through love, hate, mystery, and an undying determination to get the hell out of hell.

- Detailed dialogue and characters, whimsically accurate to ancient Greek mythology
- Natural-feeling controls for both mouse+keyboard and controller
- Beautiful and immersive art for characters, animations, and environment
- Music that's an absolute bop
- Dynamic and fulfilling difficulty level
- A smorgasbord of gameplay augmentations through relics, augments, and weapons

CONS
- Not multiplayer in any capacity
- My girlfriend is justifiably angry with me for aggressively button mashing until five in the morning on a nightly basis

After eight years of avid computer game playing, this is the first game I would confidently declare 10/10 .
