A hidden gem point and click game. This game works 100% on "Windows 10". and plays like Syberia or Art of Murder series. I highly recommend playing this game on a Touch Pad due to the dancing part which is impossible to beat, but can be skipped.

THE GAME IS SUPPOSEDLY BASED ON A TRUE STORY ABOUT "MATA HARI" WHO WAS FORCED TO BECOME A FRENCH SPY BEFORE WORLD WAR 1, but not entirely historically accurate.

In a walk through it says there are different endings depending on the amount of Wealth, Spycraft, and Skills you get at the end of Chapter 4. Do not worry about getting Skill or Wealth. You can farm them later before Chapter 4.

FIXES
Make sure you download this Directx on your computer if the game would not start. Many people had a problem running the game due to not having the right directx in the forum.

TIPS & TRICKS

SPYCRAFT
The maximum Spycraft is "1000" finding hidden papers and doing secret objectives. You can get it finished by Chapter 3. If you haven't gotten it already you have done something wrong. You are not required to max it or get any of it.

SKILL
The maximum Skill is "10000". It doesn't really effect the game other than ending supposedly. You can farm it by going back and forth between "Monaco" and "Paris station" in Chapter 3 as they are the easiest stations. Otherwise you can just keep using express routes after talking to all the spies in the train stations.

DANCE / WEALTH
The maximum Wealth is $14000. Wealth does nothing other than effecting ending of the game.
Don't worry about dancing part as there is a "red flashing button" that come out at the top right corner of the screen for you to skip but you will not get any wealth. You can farm the wealth by repeating the dances after you collect all 12 inspiration dances. You are not forced to try and beat all the dances at maximum points. This is why I recommend this game using touch pad because if you want to see all the dance properly they are designed for Touchpad mode.

INSPIRATION FOR DANCES
I highly recommend collecting all the inspirations before Chapter 4. There is no time limit or way on how you collect them. Just keeping going back to Astruc to get inspiration.

The Inspiration locations for dances in the entire game are the following:

- Paris, theatre: clouds (aeroplane)
- Paris, theatre: barrel organ
- Paris, English embassy: fountain 1
- Paris, English embassy: fountain 2
- Paris, train station: umbrella
- Paris, train station: locomotion smoke
- Paris, Malbec's house: birds
- Berlin, train station: locomotion steam
- Berlin: cyclist
- Monaco: clouds (balloon)
- Madrid: fountain
- Madrid: juggler

This game is not difficult it is straight up puzzle solving, it is closer to Art of Murder with real world objectives on how a spy would do back in those days which is quite educational at the same time.

This game works with Windows 10 no problem, make sure you are setting the game using Nvidia graphics card or AMD.

If you want a game that plays like Art of Murder or Syberia with a story but with tons of Hidden object puzzles, this is the game you should get. There is a full walkthrough guide on steam if you get stuck. All of the puzzles except two of them are easy to beat. This is one of those Hidden gem games lost in being one of the top point & click game unlike Art of Murder or Syberia due to it not having any sequels.

There is a" bonus video" after beating the entire game to show how the game was made. You are not required to play the game at the hardest difficulty and you can change the difficulty at any time due to the fact that the puzzles are unlocked to be re-playable in the box menu. (I beat it on Adventure mode). You can use "help" button infinite times on puzzles or during campaign and it won't ruin your accuracy rating. The only thing "help" ruins accuracy rating is the Hidden Object games.

If your going for achievements, don't bother with it. You'll rage at certain puzzles.
The puzzles that is extremely difficult to beat are the followings:

1. Last Puzzle - the Door game on Expert mode.
2. Zodiac Telescope when trying to beat the best time.

For "Animal Whisperer Achievement" you are not required to replay the entire game(Missing Animals).

1. There is a Caged Monkey in the Hidden Object Buddha's Altar game on Top Left area where you can free him.
2. In Hanging Decorations Hidden Object Game there are two cage bird you can free.

It your looking for a Red Alert Type of game for Star wars. This game is a must grab. It had no problem running on Modern computers. The game is based on the era of all 6 star wars movie with its own story. There are even cheats for this game.

The games runs fine on modern computers(windows 10). No tiny resolution issues. Plays exactly like Art of Murder series and Syberia. The game does not have over complicated puzzles except the Slider puzzle. I have added some Puzzle tips on steam discussion because walk through failed to mention them. This is the 2nd game in the series and no time puzzles except dog one.

Game plays exactly like Art of Murder series and Syberia series. No overly crazy difficult puzzles or timed puzzles like Art of Murder. There is an Art of Murder 2 poster in the game. This is the first Chronicle of Mystery game in the series.
Works 100% no problem on modern computers unlike the last two sequels.

REVIEW
Everything that DoW 1 had but completely stripped for no reason. Maps are extremely tiny. If you in it for Skirmish and Multiplayer. Don't even bother. A poor attempt to make a Warcraft MOBA game that went completely wrong. They should've kept the unit building like COH 1 vibe.

BALANCE ISSUE
The Elite units made the game completely unbalanced. The elite squad unit that are suppose to be able to be built like DoW 1 cannot be built but classed as a Hero unit under Elite for summoning. Super Units that are suppose to be built are set as Elite units also. This makes all the actual Hero units completely pointless in the game. The Eldars building relocation completely makes it an unbalance faction compare to other factions. They can relocate anywhere.

SINGLEPLAYER
If your getting this for single player storyline. I highly recommend waiting for discount. That is basically the only redeeming point about this game. Relic completely abandoned the game after they realized the failure on Elite unit balance.

WHAT RELIC SHOULD HAVE DONE.
-Kept DoW 1 Building protocol for Super units and Elite squad units.
-Reclass Elite to Hero Units, it would be amazing like Warcraft MOBA the right way.
-Eldar relocating buildings more balanced and have a certain distance to relocate.
-Just like the attempt to make it like CoH 2 trucks, all buildings from each factions can relocate like Eldar in a certain way.
a) For example Orcs will convert buildings into Trukks for relocation. This will be completely balance with Eldar faction teleportation buildings.
-Big maps. What the hell happen to the big maps like DoW1?!

You have to play "Chronicle of Mystery The Legend of the Sacred Treasure" before you play this game. It is a direct two part game. I recommend you buy the whole bundle instead of purchasing this game separately. You won't know what is going on.

-Right click Desktop and click "Nividia Control Panel"
-Click on "Manage 3D setting"
- Click "Add" and select the Right "MystLauncher" assuming you have all games installed.
-On "selected the preferred graphics processor for this program" change it to "High performance NVIDIA processor"
-Click on "Apply" button

AMD users might have to do the same.

4. Once you find all the objects, just click the Hidden object area again and click everything you find.

Beware some items are hidden under Newspapers, etc.

d) Also another way to cheat the timer it use the "Pen Hint". Go back out and the Timer won't move and wait for the "Pen Hint" to come back. The Pen can be used infinite times. Suggest to save the coins later on.

REVIEW
This game has a better storyline than the last two Art of Murder Hidden Object game. It even doesn't have any resolution issues. Thought this game doesn't play exactly like the First Two Chronicle of Mystery games which are like Syberia. If you like the story you might like it. I can't recommend this to people who like Syberia to like this game due to all the negative reviews. But those who played a lot of Hidden object games would love the story line.

REVIEW
I highly recommend you get this game with the Bundle. The first two games are like Art of Murder first three games and plays like Syberia. This game is Hidden Object, the hidden object gameplay is much easier and better than Art of Murder last two hidden object game. The next storyline or sequel to this game is "Chronicle of Mystery Secret of the Lost Kingdom". It is apparently two games split into two game, this is why I recommend purchasing the Bundle instead of the game separately.

REVIEW
Last true sequel of Art of Murder FBI Confidential and Art of Murder Hunt for Puppeteer. A must have if you like FBI Confidential. Plays like Syberia series. The only rush sequence is the Laser Bomb in Power Plant. No crazy hard puzzle like the Slider Puzzle in number Hunt for Puppeteer. Calm relaxing mystery solver adventurer game.

COMPATIBILITY
This game works with Windows 10 and modern computers way better than the other Art of Murder games. NO crashing issue what so ever. Using Intel UHD 630 and Nvidia 1050ti dual graphic. Has no problem running on Modern Intel graphics card.

Game is full of unfix bugs, and constantly crashes making it unplayable. Stick with the Codename panzers WW2. They are the better game. The same company made Rush for Berlin which is also on steam.
