The Roller Coaster of emotions, happiness, excitement, agony and pure joy is back in more detailed, more refined version.
+ Optimization is nice, game-play is fun and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind. Still about an hour in, but definitely recommend the game to those who fell in love with DL1.

Got the refund vibe the second I loaded into the game's world. Exactly the issues I had with SGWC1 but polished a little bit only to rip off customers again.

- Sluggish and stiff combat. The gunplay compared to other MW shooters feel extremely child-like and do not feel the recoil and the weight of the gun. The guns other than the sniper are a pain to shoot with.

- Questionable graphics. (2K, Very High settings) The overall graphics of the game fits the year 2013~2015 at best. The textures are a mess, the AA, just like in SGWC1 is a joke, and the jagged edges in the trees just look bad.

- The story doesn't have anything to say and is super forgettable. The characters feel rushed too.

Overall, don't get the game unless you don't have ANY other shooter to play. Repeating the story of CoD games is way more worth it than this imo.

Imagine Borderlands, but with swords instead of guns, and extremely shiny graphics instead of cartoon-ish. Oh, and far more serious dialogues :D

A solid 8.2/10.

Not one of the 8th gen masterpieces of SIE, but definitely a great experience overall.

FIFA 22 accomplishes what FIFA 21 couldn't; The absolute simulation of Football.

I was on the fence about buying FIFA 22, given how little changes were over FIFA 21 (and HyperMotion being absent from the PC version!), but I couldn't be more glad that I bought it.

Gameplay
1. The gameplay feels a lot slower and a lot more real than the previous year's version; tackles are more realistically done; goalkeepers are way more powerful and are actually saving definite goals, and passes have a lot less chance of being complete, if not meticulously done; but most important of all, through ball!; through balls are completely overhauled and are not simply the go-to method for easy goals anymore. You need to create chances and position the players well in order to complete through balls.
2. Since we had key transfers between clubs since FIFA 21, my main motive to but 22 were the transfers, and it's a pleasure to see all the great players in their current club.
3. Free-kicks and set-pieces are more key now in the gameplay, as they play a pivotal role in the outcome.

Graphics
Sadly, graphics has little to no change since the FIFA 21 version, and that's okay with me, since EA made it completely clear they were releasing the previous-gen version for PC, and they intended to keep the system requirements low, for all audiences to have a chance at playing the game smoothly (But if HyperMotion and next-gen graphics were present in the PC version, that would be AMAZING!)

UI
Obviously, the main theme color has changed (since it does in every FIFA) and it's now Black/Green, which I really like. The Main Menu organization is completely changed, and it's now better organized. However, it can take a little time to get used to (e.g. UEFA cup is now in quickplay mode and does not have a separate place, which caused me to go round and round in the main menu for a couple of minutes.)

Verdict
I'm not a Career player, nor am I an FUT player. I just play UEFA cups and Kick-offs and I can safely say for me, FIFA 22 was the right choice. If you get a chance to buy it in sale, all the better.
The soundtrack, btw, is beautifully selected!
