Enjoyed this a whole lot more than Far Cry 3. Yes it's formulaic gameplay wise but overall the vibe and aesthetics of the game made the experience enjoyable.

Kinda hard to recommend at the moment.

Frequent server and ping problems. Lots of gameplay issues that need fixing but instead lots of skins keep getting released. It's infuriating when such a competitive game feels laggy and you die to something that's not caused by a skill issue but technical issues.

For now I'm gonna keep playing till I unlock stuff from the Battle Pass a friend gifted me. I'll return once they make significant fixes.

As of now I've returned because I've got a nice new PC that helps me enjoy games with near zero fps drops. I still play because the game really does scratch an itch that a lot of other games don't but network issues are still common. You know it's messed up when I'm in Asia and get better network performance from a London server than most Asian servers. I will admit tho that I'm not well versed with code. I've seen someone say it's probably not a server issues but more to do with net code. Maybe someone smarter than me can confirm that but in any case high ping and network issues are always present.

I also have great headphones but the audio is still an issue. I don't know if I'm nitpicking or if the developers don't think it's a priority. I see a lot of people online complaining about the audio too specifically the footsteps. I feel like I'm losing my mind when I can't tell where enemy footsteps are coming from.

Short and sweet.

The framework of a great game exists but in practice it just feels like a zombie rush game with the zombies in police skin. I only had fun modifying the weapons to different play styles. I don't recommend this at all unless you love zombie games.

Excellent!

It isn't a long game and definitely not big budget but there's still a decent amount of detail and polish. I have many nitpicks like it feeling a little too much like Skyrim sometimes but I can ignore it all because of how much I enjoyed playing it. The suspense had me coming back for more. I can't wait to see what the devs have in store for the future and I hope they make larger games with such condensed lore.

Okay so I gave this game another chance now especially since last time I played all the Dragon Age games. Unfortunately I still don't recommend this game to others. The only reason I'll continue to play is because I'm really hungry for a Star Wars RPG so The Old Republic satisfies me through it's role playing elements and dialogue choices. I'm not entirely sure but I think the UI has been improved a bit too since I last played it.

As for my criticisms: Combat is bad imo. Most of the time I just run past enemies to get to the main objective or boss battle. Lots of weird bugs and glitches. Improved UI but still could be better. There are lots of UI elements that are just a pain to navigate. Buncha other stuff too but I don't wanna go into detail or else I'll be here all week.

There's so much potential here for this to be one of the best games ever but it's being squandered imo

Non-spoiler short review.

A must-play. Shows the ugliness of war and contains some twists that made my stomach churn.

Narrative wise, it's not like a lot of games out there. Stands out from most games over the years. However the ending left me confused but that's probably because I'm a dum dum

Gameplay wise, sadly it feels like a generic third person cover shooter that copies Gears of War.

Doesn't mean it's a bad game tho. It just hasn't aged that well IMO. It also has that signature Unreal Engine 3 look without anti-aliasing and I have many other nitpicks but I still highly recommend it solely for the dark narrative.

I honestly feel this is in a way an important game historically. Everyone plays different games for different reasons. The Line didn't help me relax but instead broke me a little.

As someone who has severe anxiety this game is a wonderful and relaxing experience.

It's really simple. It has a buncha pictures that need to be coloured in with a few given colours. That's it. Doesn't seem like much but that's what's great about it. After a long and stressful day I won't be in the mood for twitchy games that are loud and stressful. I'd rather relax and this games helps someone like me who finds social interactions terrifying. I thank the devs for making this game <3
