If this was just a wrestling sandbox and a lot cheaper, I would probably recommend this game, but as it is, no.

Unlocks behind game modes... Sure... But if you want all MyRise unlocks like I did, you'll need to play through it 4 times. 5 if you want all Steam achievements. Now this wouldn't be the worst thing, if the story was at least interesting, but it isn't. There are different story twists then betrayal, devs/writers... Included in these replays are also the same, unskippable cutscenes with very minor changes depending on choices made.

MyFaction is still there, think enough has been said about that.

Besides all that however, it has been decided PC doesn't even get the full game. We get a downgraded game, because some people supposedly can't run the new version. Even if that were the case, make a game that can run on the lower end modern day PCs on low settings. Doesn't seem like rocket science to me.

Thief Simulator isn't known for it's smooth gameplay, but this is something else. This game, to me, does not feel like a finished product.
The movement feels clunky. Both for the character and NPCs walking about.
The majority of NPCs never leave their house in a game where you're breaking into places.(work? Groceries? Socializing?)
Detection seems inconsistent at best. Too punishing in the majority of situations.
Controls weren't that well explained. Sure, don't need to be held by the hand all the way in a game, but it also shouldn't take google searches to figure out how to throw a bottle. Which then also has the added issue that the throwing arch does not get interrupted if you happen to be behind a door frame, that you think you're not behind...
No, I'm not very positive about this game....

Clearly not been tested before release. Parts that should be breakable not having the tool-points to break it. Other times halve a ship collapsing, because you remove a single floor tile.

Unfortunately the concerns I had watching the trailers/teasers before release were not taken away after actually playing the game.
Wrestling feels clunky. Create-a-wrestler is about as basic as it gets. Create-a-moveset doesn't even have the ability to filter by move type, and from what I've read in another review has issues saving... So, maybe after they actually finish the game I'll see about potentially buying again.

Couple disclaimers. Firstly, I love WWF No Mercy. This game is nowhere near that, and frankly it felt a bit overconfident of them to compare themselves to a legendary game like that. Secondly, no I will not give them a break for it being their first game. As the devs that worked on this game are not new to this genre...

Early Access Review
I'm not sure what the devs were thinking with the level selector. Complete a level, gets added to the list. Sure, makes sense. What doesn't get added, is the level you then got to! So want a break and return later to continue? Better enjoy repeating the last level you just completed!
Then there's the grappling hook. Unless I'm missing something obvious (and judging from other reviews, I'd not be the only one), but that hook is inconsistent whether it connects or doesn't connect to things. Then IF it does connect flings you into directions that again are inconsistent.
Saves going through a checkpoint system, so hope you enjoy repeating that particular spot you keep falling down, plus occasionally the small part before getting to that point...
No, I can't say I'm positive about the experience...

Removing a feature that is STILL advertised on the shop page without any heads up to people that have already paid for the game... Yeah... No...

Sci-fi space dwarves.
Solid game. However I do realize it can get somewhat repetitive for some people, since it is somewhat limited on mission types and biomes.
Personally though, I still thoroughly enjoy mining a mission for all the ore that it's got. Several hundred hours into the game.

First of, have to launch the game from the game folder, cause otherwise the launcher that automatically starts lags out the game.
Driving, maybe historically accurate, but horrible,
Fighting/shooting controls, horrible. (assume this is ported from a controller version)
Then there's the visual glitching, textures flashing, black screen during cutscenes or generally freezing up.
No, I can't say I'm positive about this game.

*edit* After getting 100% of the achievements, I'm still not positive about the game. It felt like the game was specifically made to be tedious to 100%, even with guides. Several missions had to be replayed because some collectible was hidden away. Of course not clear what mission without the guides. Not to mention some collectibles *looks at the foxes* were not straight away clear to me as being collectibles, until I started looking at guides.
