This is a gorgeous game with an intriguing story and lovely ideas that is unfortunately completely hamstrung by several horrible decisions. You play on a space station consisting of six sections, all right next to each other. Each is its own ecosystem and requires individual stockpiles for every good it will use, taking up the limiited floor space. Individual goods can be moved between sections, but only it seems, by setting request quotas, rather simply telling your transporters to move a set amount. Humans, meanwhile, CAN be moved piecemeal, and despite the huge bulkheads, transporters have no problems moving goods quickly between sectors. The main good, alloys becomes very scarce, very quickly, forcing you to economise hard, even as it's constantly drained by the need to maintain the station, and the only sources of the metal used to produce it are scattered across the systems and brought in so slowly that by the time a shipment enters the station, the last load has already been consumed, forcing a desperate hand to mouth life that was more frustrating than tense. Meanwhile, the forges that produce the materials you need require exact amounts to convert them to alloys or polymers, leaving them frozen if, inevitably, you end up with an odd amount from one of your slow moving shipments.

Despite all this, I wanted to like this game, but a tide of annoyances like these and Frostpunk-lite demands pushed me away, which is a shame.

A functional game, which is about all that can be said for it. Very few of the puzzles require any kind of thought or consideration. Mostly, the devs seem to have splatted some points down at random, leaving you to connect most by the shortest possible line, then use the last to zigzag around and fill up the remaining space with ease. All this while the game slathers you with a torrent of pointless achievements in the form of random words and letters. Avoid.
