16.8 hrs on record
TLDR: The game is far too short on both progression and content for a full price AAA game, with virtually all meaningful content being completed in 16 hours - I could not imagine 100% being more than 20 hours at a leisurely pace.

While Jedi: Fallen Order is an okay adaptation of Dark Souls style combat with a Star Wars face, it falls short in almost every regard, including combat mechanics.

I have done basically all content in the game on the second hardest difficulty, minus a few cosmetics, and my total playtime is 16 hours. For a purely singleplayer game, this is a horrid amount of content behind a full price AAA game. My main issue with this game lies in the lack of content, it is short, it has very few real progression items for a metroidvania type game, and there is very little meaningful optional objectives, such as health, force and healing increases.

Furthermore, the game has documented performance issues and frequent hiccups, as well as consistent audio desync during cinematics. To go along with the cinematic issues, the story lacks character building beyond the introduction, with most of the story being kept for "Force Echos", which function like journal logs or entries in other games - which is fine, but not when combined with few story beats on its own.

Combat tries to adopt a Sekiro type feeling, but fails to put much weight in mechanics. There is no heavy attack, there are no combos, there is little interaction with force powers in order to augment an approach to combat, with the most effective strategy often just being dodging and parrying, both of which have relatively easy timing windows.

The lack of variety in the game produces a feeling where you are simply cutting through the same type of enemy again and again, while benefiting from very little practical power growth to make the combat feel different from beginning to end. That said, the combat mechanics may be more appreciated by others, which is perfectly okay.

If you love Star Wars, and you are okay with an extremely short, but "okay" game, this game may be up your alley, as it stands, I would not recommend unless it is heavily discounted
