I'm not one for MMO's and never had been growing up. I'll play them for a bit but fall off very quick as they usually wont keep my attention. However, this game for some odd reason, kept me since 2.0's world wide release. I love the variety of classes and jobs, and their team is quite respectable behind this MMO. This is very story rich with lots of graphical details, but you can skip cut scenes if you are that kind of person. There's very subtle fan service as well between your character and others. It's easily overlooked, but I love that the dev team thought of us bonding with characters that they worked so hard on. If you are looking for a very interactive game between players and the dev team, this is it, as they actually listen to feedbacks from players. Yes, you have to pay a monthly subscription, but I believe it is worth it, with how big the world is in this game, with lots of (what it seems like) unlimited content and things to do and a battle system that is always being in the works to favour balance between each content given out. The community players are less toxic than I thought would be and I love the friendliness that the community gives as a whole in this game. They also do not have pay to win items as options to purchase. It's all vanity and glamour. This is absolutely the most lovable game and if you are late into the Final Fantasy series, thats okay! The knowledge is not a requirement to start this game. They do incorporate songs and bosses from other series, but unless you are a die hard fan, you wont notice, and other players are more than willing to share and talk about their experiences and where the boss came from. (I have only played the very popular mainstreamed FF series.) Please give this game a try! It will not disappoint! For casuals and hardcore raiding as well. They cater to both.
