childhood nostalgia kicked right in with just the menu music. played countless hours of flatout 2 as a kid, and even today, the game is just as much fun as it was years ago. my personal favorite in the flatout series, if you can get on sale for a few €, i would definitely recommend this to everyone

I played just about 40 minutes of this game and I really wasn't enjoying it. The handling is so strange and kinda unreal, when you try to accelerate while turning, the whole car just goes to the side and rotates by 180 degrees. Brakes are half-not functionable, you need to brake at least 100 meters before turning, brakes = unusable. The preset controls are really unusual and unpractical. I believe that after few hours of gameplay I could get used to it and I'll start to enjoy it, but now I'm just raging because I crash every 15 seconds. The only thing I really liked about this game is the graphics, It looks fantastic and it's optimised kinda well, I have 50-100 FPS on Ultra on my GTX760, i5-2500K and 8GB RAM. Overall I would give it 2/10 points just because the graphics and optimisation.

Excellent game. Graphics are really good even on low settings, sound is pretty realistic. Controls are really nice on keyboard, but it's really dificult on steering wheel or a gamepad. You have several game modes: DiRT Tour - you start at easy tracks with no sponsors, and as you go on and on you'll get harder tracks and you'll get sh*it loads of sponsors. Singleplayer - has two modes - timetrial on any map and car you want. The other mode is classic non-career singleplayer, so you have all the cars and tracks. And the last and the best gamemode is multiplayer. If your friends also have this game, you gonna really enjoy the multiplayer mode of DiRT. You can pick any map you want, but other than in classic singleplayer, here you don't have all the cars, but here you also gain levels like in DiRT Tour. The higher level = more sponsors and cars. The lobby can handle up to 8 people, but you can also play with just one friend, or you can find some lobby that you'll join. I played almost 11 hours of this since yesterday and I must say that even if I have not got it for free from humble bundle, I would buy it anyways because it's just so good and it's lot of fun. 10/10 I really reccomend!
