Short and sweet, finished the whole thing in about two hours but liked it nonetheless.

What an amazing game. Following the main story feels exactly like playing the latest Indy movie. Story, pacing, graphics, voice acting, even the orchestral score in the background, nothing feels off and it's a joy to play (also I'm writing this while watching the end credits with a reprise of that orchestral music -- as it would be in the movies!)

The only criticism would be the absolute chore to finish all the collections, the markers are hard to follow sometimes, you backtrack to the same locations multiple times just to find another type of collectible that you missed. However that's a personal problem I guess ;)

I would really like to recommend this, but I can't. As much as I like Star Trek and even the story here, I'm struggling to understand why there's no option to skip anything which makes a replay (to get additional achievements) an absolute chore.

Speaking of achievements: some of them are not working and it is nigh impossible to get any reaction from the developers, either here or on discord. Even after an update ("hey, achievements are fixed!") and subsequent reports from a lot of people that they are not, there's simply no update again for weeks and months.

Yes, some of us take achievements seriously and if you start implementing them you darn well better make sure they are working properly.

Update: there's absolutely no communication anymore a month later and this hasn't been fixed. Discord is dead as well, completely abandoned,

One of the better idle games out there I think (and it shames me to say that I played a lot of them).

Surprisingly satisfying mechanic when you come back after a day's work and made some real progress and start playing with your new found abilities and possibilities. And you can finish everything in the hundreds of hours rather than thousands of hours which is quite doable.

I do wonder why there never was a sequel in a different setting. A space odyssey where you crash through floors when you've used a path often enough and are thus able to reach new areas. Any takers? :)

(also thanks to Dawe in Discord for helping out newbies and veterans alike)

Epic game and a shame I didn't play it earlier. No Witcher 3 ... but that's one of a kind anyway.

One thing though: if the game asks you to pick up a hammer and nails? DON'T!

Having played pretty much all older MIs, I genuinely liked it and had fun playing it three (four?) times to get all achievements, yay. Humor, characters, voiceover (english), all nicely done.

The ending though. Well, a lot has been said already. It felt rushed and inappropriate to say the least. This would cost at least a star or two but since Steam only allows Yes/No recommendations, I will go with a firm yes.

Nothing like the old Fallout games sadly. If you loved those, stay away, it will brake you heart. New players knock yourself out.

Well, what can I say. Fallout's little sister, gets a lot of thing right but still doesn't give me the same old feeling. Recommended? Yes. Did I go straight back to Fallout afterwards? Also yes. Did I write this because I need a review for the Autumn Sale? Yes again.

10 years old and still a lot of fun. BUT.

But only if you don't happen to run into the game-breaking bugs and need to start over after > 25 hours of playtime. Or the second controller keeps cutting out forcing you to restart the game. Or the whole thing simply crashes on you over and over again. And no, no fix, no workaround, no nothing anywhere on the interwebs.

As much as I like the Lego games, this one (as you can tell) is not exactly the best of the bunch in mho.
