I didn't get CS2 beta test :)

Update: I got the beta test, good game.

TL;DR - if they make a performance optimization update, then you can have a try. If not, don't buy.

I don't know where to start.
The game had potential. But the lack of optimization and massive frame drops are giving me headaches.
I have a 3070TI and it drops to 44fps in some regiones WITH MEDIUM SETTINGS !
They wanted to make the combat fluid but they actually managed to make it stiff as hell, I don't know how but they did it. The only moment you see the potential of the combat is when you press the momentum "ultimate" and the character does the mashing by himself. Besides that, it feels very very stiff. There is no fluidity.
They wanted to make the game fluid with the traversal yet the only "good" traversal is the sand surf. Like hell, you have a GOD in your gauntlet, you can sand surf, you can duble jump, you can TRIPLE GLIDE through air but you can't freaking climb a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall.
And oh did I forgot to mention PERFORMANCE ISSUES? AND OPTIMIZATION? Even with 90FPS in some regions, the game looks "shattering", it looks like the Frames per Second between them try to hang on by the teeth between them, instead of being a fluid thing like they show in the spell mini clips and youtube videos. ( 90FPS looks and feels like 40FPS maybe 50 sometimes but nothing above.)
Disappointed, honestly. I even prepurchased the game because I liked how they sold it with videos.
Let's not talk about the voicelines, scripts and stuff like that....kinda amateur-ish...

Best game I have ever played for the past 5 years

Uninstalled it when the grind was unbearable for attachments

Wanted to install it for open beta because some friends wanted to play together
First installment was downloading with a speed of 60-70MB/sec

After the game was installed, We wanted to go in and stream it, because we told our viewers that we gonna play this

When I enter, "AUTHENTICATION ERROR ! AUTHENTICATION ERROR ! TRY AGAIN !"

Ok...Ok...What should I do, right? Whatever any other person would do. "Verify integrity of the files"

I click verify, it verifies 404 files with 0 errors

I open the game back up, "POOF" another 65GB download has started
(So verifying the game makes it uninstall, very cool guys, very cool)

And the cherry on top, THIS TIME it was downloading with 2MB/ sec :3

So thank you guys for f-ing up a good night stream. I love y'all !!!

AND NOW, after I left the game to download while I am work since I wanted to stream, TODAY ! I click on it and it's under maintenance :3 WITHOUT ANY FREAKING INFORMATION WHATSOEVER ANYWHERE !!!

I'll leave a review based on a F2P perspective
Since all these muppets are leaving negative reviews because THEY PAID for a F2P game BEFORE trying it and not expecting problems AT LAUNCH when THE HYPE was big, I'll leave here a review based on my F2P experience.

-Graphics: 10/10- Gorgeous ! I have no complaints about them and I can't find any negative things to say about them. It gave me memories from back in the days when Cabal was launched and the graphics were astonishing compared to other games back then. Trully nostalgic !

Sound: 9\10 - I love the fact that they don't have so many sounds that blow your ears out for ANYTHING you do, from accepting quests, finishing quests, leveling up and so on. Yet I would've loved for more ambiental music in some parts of the maps. Very good, yet they can do better :D

UI: 7\10 - Like all other Asian\Korean games, there plenty of things in which you can dive in the UI part, it's a big branch of buttons and connections which at first it's hard to understand yet while you play the game you understand them better due to the tutorials and just simply exploring them.

-Story: 7\10 - Well...if you focus on the story I can say it's...adventurous? It's not mind-blowing nor inexistent.... so

-Combat : 10\10 -It's Lost Ark...what do you expect? It doesn't fall short, depending on what class you want it's more flashy or not but either way, it feels fantastic, it feels fluid and mostly, IT'S FLASHY-FLASHY\SLASHY-SLASHY !!

Performance: 8\10 - I had some moments when things started to stutter, don't know if it's because I play with it on max quality or the servers are still struggling with everybody joining and playing, causing some lag, don't get me wrong, it's not game breaking experience, it's just that I noticed it. Maybe the servers will get back up on their feet properly and things will go well.

Purchasables : 7\10 - As much as I hate purchases that give you an advantage in games, I didn't see a deficit between F2P players and P2W players, it gives you some items, and other things which you can endoulge in but yeah, didn't feel discouraged of playing this free game because other players have a big advantage over me because of the things they bought with real money. And hey, it's a free game, they have to earn money somehow. So, take it with a grain of salt ^^

And there's my opinion about the game ! :D If something else comes to my mind which needs to be added, i'll edit this review.

Went in, played 5 games, uninstalled it.
Optimization is bad, with a i5 10400F and GTX 1070TI I have to set everything to low in order tor each 100FPS, which I don't think that the game has so good graphics that it needs more spec.

Movement feels stiff, especially Jumping and sliding ( when I slide I feel like I have my handbrake pulled )

Weapons feel soulless.....I feel like I am shooting with paper cones instead of guns

Hit registration is....where it isn't. Sometimes I feel like I'm shooting blanks, not even paper cone bullets.
I mean...Microsoft just could've just named this game a remaster over any halo game...?

For 6 years of development, they could've done more.

So in 2021 they cannot make a game in which you can play co-op in missions or campaign.
If you play co-op vs AI, it searches for a game...WTF?!
When you are in the Co-op vs AI menu, there is a freaking timer that automaticly starts the game...? I mean wtf?! Is the bot hurrying up somewhere and I don't know about it?
It's a disappointment, honestly.

Low Budget CoD wannabe.
Weapons are stiff
Movement is stiff, you feel like you have an anchor wrapped around your body
Reloads are slower than a sloth, it's like these soldiers never had a reload training ever in their life
Full of hackers
Matchmaking balance : I am level 3, I get 4 people of level 20 in my team and oponents with level 180
You can't tell the difference between your teammates or enemies, only after you died
Waste of time

I don't care that the game is in early acces, if you make a PVEPVP game that atleast make it so that THE NPCS DON'T RANDOMLY SPAWN NEXT TO YOU !!!

So I just went into a camp ( which obviously the camps are stupid since you have to run around to search for an entrance\exit most of the time ) and then I shot 3 outlanders and YOU KNOW WHAT?! 7 OUTLANDERS SPAWN RIGHT NEXT TO ME MELEE-ING ME !

Research everything? Seriously?
You have to grind the living hell out of your weapons? Signature weapons? WTF?!


Lag, lag lag lag lag LLLAAAAG !!

I understand the concept of the PVE in BR BUT ATLEAST GIVE US SOME FREAKING AMMO AND DON'T MAKE THE NPC'S BE A FREAKING BULLET SPONGE SO WHEN YOU CLEAR OUT A CAMP AND ANOTHER TEAM COMES IN, YOU DON'T HAVE ANYMORE BULLETS !

The concept of research is ok up until the point you realize that it doesn't matter that every agent has a signature weapon CAUSE YOU HAVE TO GRIND FOR IT !

OH, And the best part is that this game tells you about a futuristic ♥♥♥♥ of a lore that you have to scavenge for ♥♥♥♥, you have abilities that make you run faster, heal, place a shield down, make yourself invisible YET YOU DON'T GET A WEAPON FOR START?! WTF?!?!
