Best RPG ever ... still ...

I just bought this yesterday upon release and then woke up wanting to play again, so there is an addictive quality to it. It's a bit janky with the mechanics and takes some getting used to with how to navigate the many crafting tables/building and such but I dig it! For a two-person project, I am quite impressed! Will it replace my beloved 7 Days to Die? Of course not. However, it offers a very different experience more akin to a cross between Rust and State of Decay, ... & whilst it is quite grindy at first, once you start getting the hang of it, it's more complex as it goes along, adding to interest. The atmosphere is great. The sounds are especially well-done. I am pleased. Money well spent. UPDATE : I am officially addicted to this now. What an awesome game! Watch out for those flame throwers!

The fun type of stress ...

I am really addictively enjoying this game. The fact that I can sift through ashtrays for turds and cuss at random people is the highlight to my day. Seriously though, once you've played about a dozen times and figure out the map, skills, building/crafting/repairing and keeping your stats in the upper levels, it's a lot of fun because it is so challenging just to stay alive! I'd like to see some options added and some glitches solved but, all in all, it's a good time and worth the price tag to me. I really hope the developers keep making progress with this.

Meh. Don't expect the visuals to be near as good as those on your pc. The unit works fine and all but if you are wanting t play Skyrim or the like on your 55" Sony Bravia or whatever, then a direct PC connection is what is required for a decent image. Nevertheless, I am not giving this a thumbs down because some of the more cartoony games look just fine ane there doesn't seem to be much of an issue with lag or technical problems. It does what it is supposed to do, just don't expect it to look even anywhere near as good as a console gaming experience.

I'm 40 and I can't beat this game even on easy. My 9 year old boy beat it on his first try after I had tried at least 10 times to no avail. It's a great game though!

As dumb as a bag of used panties at the thrift store and less entertaining than breathing.
