Capitalism strikes again, but that was to be expected given what these companies get away with these days. The reviewers rallying to RELIC’s defense are proof enough such business practices won’t end any time soon. The gameplay isn’t that bad but $60 is absolutely OUTRAGOUS, especially given how hollow the game currently feels due to the lack of content that RELIC no doubt plans on selling later as DLC. No one should be surprised, but more content should have been included in the base game. AAA pricing should demand AAA graphics and content, right now you’re getting neither. Want to play a 4v4 match? You currently get to choose between two maps! What a joke.

The game has potential but should be priced at $30, not $60! The coming DLC will add much needed content but you’ll be paying an absurd amount for that too, especially since the first one or two should have likely come with the base game. I’d wait to buy the game during an eventual sale. Seriously, at least for now, you’re not missing anything worthwhile if you already have CoH2.
