Let me just get this straight, if you can't afford actual FBT (Full Body Tracking), this is the best software you can get to "simulate" what it would be.

This is not Full Body Tracking
For the sake of not taking so long to write this, we're gonna refer to:
  • Full Body Tracking as FBT
  • Full Body Estimation as FBE

So this is NOT FBT, and it will never be, this is FBE, basically, it doesn't track anything but it kinda predicts where and how you should move.
So for example, if I bend my legs, it should predict that I'm doing so and it should try to replicate an accurate representation.
This caused a ton of confusion when it first released because some people thought that this was a "no tracker FBT", which is just not true and not possible (at least not for a long time).

What should I use Standable for?
Quick answer, being more expressive, I've been playing mainly VRChat on PC-VR for the last 3 months and I've stuck with the default "tracking", which hey, it's not bad at all! I think that the VRChat team did a very good job with it actually with it.
The thing is, we're kinda stuck to this... Animation set we could call it, and standable gives a whole new world to be expressive!
Now when I turn to the sides, it's not awkward, I can lay on the floor and it's actually good, I don't need to use GoLoco to represent how I lay anymore, I can now bend my legs or sit down without the pre-set animations of the avatar I'm using!

The current most common issues
- "The lowerbody is not working well!"
As FBE users, we're kinda limited, since standable was no way of tracking where your legs are and kinda needs to predict it with limited data.
The thing is, FBE WILL NEVER BE PERFECT , in my opinion, the biggest issue right now with standable, is the lower body, the upperbody's beautiful to see, it geniunally looks like you are using FBT and it's insane how accurate it is!
But... The lowerbody's a lot more limited, since for the upperbody we have 3 points, we have the headset and the two controllers, we have and we'll have to keep that in mind, and even if it's kinda inconsistent, I think that standable does an insane job!

- "The tracking stops when my VR goes idle!"
I've noticed this too, I use Quest 2 on PC-VR and when my VR goes Idle and I come back, the tracking gets kinda funky sometimes...
A kinda quick (and not perfect fix) for this, is to simply re-calibrate both VRChat FBT and Standable's FBE.
If you want it to be perfect again, you'll have to restart SteamVR sadly to reset the calibration completely...
But! If you don't want to restart SteamVR, you can simply re-calibrate and it works perfectly in my opinion!

- "My legs are not moving with me!"
That's completely normal... Since it is only predicting your leg movement, and it doesn't have any tracking points like on the upper body (Headset and the controllers), it was no way of actually seeing where your legs are, think about it like, you can only have fluid movement in terms of bending the legs and moving around.
AND QUICK TIP!
If you want to reset the position of your legs, if you just put yourself on the tip of your toes, the legs will return to the original position, just something I found out while playing around with standable.

- "My tracking is not working correctly!"
Make sure you're calibrating everything correctly, see if your floor level's correct, don't look down when calibrating and make sure all your tracking points are the right ones on SteamVR.

What should we expect in the future?
So Standable 2.0 should release in some months hopefully, and it'll have no only a lot of fixes but also a lot of reworked features, like, not needing to flick down to get into callibration mode or mixed reality support!
(Using FBT to fill the gaps that Standable can't)
But only time will tell when Standable 2.0 releases but sure will be big! A huge update for us Standable users!

Should you buy Standable?
ABSOLUTELY! I've bought standable only yesterday... But still I've had ton of amazing first impressions and even some of my friends were impressed with how well Standable works and how fluid it is!
It sure helps a ton on being more expressive without FBT, and I couldn't recommend it more!
If you have the money, and you want to improve your experience in VR games, not only VRChat, this is an amazing tool.
Seriously, this is 100% worth it!

Extra note
Check out the description of Standable, where you can find information on how to correctly callibrate or some other information like fixing elbow tracking or setting floor level correctly.
And also, check out the video that is on the page, it helped me a ton not spending a whole afternoon figuring out how to correctly make standable work..

Rating
In all honestly, even with some issues and limitations, I give Standable a:
10/10
This software is amazing and I loved using it, everyone that's thinking on buying Standable, give it an honest try, for me, it was completely worth it.

I play Apex Legends since Season 2 and I can say that it's one of my favorite games, I have over 200 hours ingame at this point (Steam and Origin) and I never got sick of playing it.
If you like fast pace shooter games your in the right place.

Reasons why I like and would recommend the game to everyone:

- The game has a variety of weapons and a lot of ways to customize them;
I am not only talking about skins but also the game has a lot of attachments that you can apply to your gun that can help you fighting.

- The cosmetics don't affect the gameplay;

- The game is not pay-to-win;
Sadly we have a lot of popular Pay-To-Win games in the gaming industry but this game isn't.
All you can buy with money are cosmetics that I personally see them more as a reward for supporting financially the game.

- The game is somewhat Noob Friendly;
When I started playing the game there weren't really any ways to practice for example BUT! Now the game offers a lot of resources if your new to the game.
Some examples are:
- The possibility of making the bots alive in the Firing Range;
- The possibility of fighting friends in the Firing Range;
- The new Arena mode;
- The matchmaking system.
(Sadly they are a lot of flaws with the Matchmaking System but in general the game puts you with a balanced lobby)

- The game runs well on Low End PCs;
The game is heavy that's a sad truth but the community offers a lot of FPS Boosting Guides that personally helped me a lot.
I tested this with my backup graphics card build in my CPU (A Intel Graphics Card 3000 I think) and after making all the changes I got a solid and stable average of 30 FPS, so it is not the smoothest experience but it is playable.

- The game is not in a Early Access, Alpha or Beta phase;
This is good (at least for me) because this means that the game ideas and mechanics are already implemented, so don't expect a lot of bugs.

- There are a lot of servers to choose;
There is a total of 46 SERVERS! Well... That's a lot of servers.
Personally I never had a bad experience playing on European servers since for me playing on 10MS or 120MS doesn't affect so much the gameplay as you would think.
I play on the closest servers to where is live on a average of 80MS and I can still play well against any player.

- There is crossplay;
Yes there is a crossplay system between Console Players (XBOX, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch) and PC Players.

- There are a lot of legends to choose;
There are 17 Legends in Apex Legends each one with their own Habilities and Classes.

- The Legends are balanced;
I played Apex with a lot of different teams and a lot of different legends and I can say that you can defeat any enemy with any legend.
The game gives you your hability so you can have a bigger tatical oportunity BUT any situation is possible. Even if you have 1HP you can still kill a Squad.

- There are 5 maps.
Yes, 5 maps. You would think that this would be a small number of maps if we compared this to Counter-Strike for example, well... I did before but every Apex map is different, with a lot of different places to land and battle so I can say that this makes the game always fun and refreshing.

Well... This was my review of Apex Legends, I hope that it was useful for everyone that is reading it I could say a lot more about this amazing game but there is so much to talk about and I think it is better if you experience if by yourself.
I would highly recommend the game.

My final score:
5*/5*

Thank you for reading!
