Animal Well is delightful puzzle-platformer and well worth the price. I would argue it is crucial to blindly go into the game.

This is an awesome puzzle game! It is so rewarding building your understanding of the language systems. Especially once you start translating at the terminals or solve a puzzle once you understand the part you may have been missing or misinterpreting. Delightful art style, good soundtrack. Kind of wish there was a photo mode, or a way to hide the UI for when you take screenshots, but that's mostly since I would love to take some screenshots and use them as desktop backgrounds. I think it is well worth the price, however if you're hesitant, wait for a sale.

Immaculately crafted bliss
Wow. Where do I start with this game? This game has iron grip on the vibe it was going for. The visual aesthetic is perfect and is an excellent homage to chunky graphics. The soundtrack is a homerun. The game doesn't tutorial you through everything, it was refreshing to figure some more inconsequential things out like elements you could interact with in each stage. The story is interesting, but short. Did that affect my overall enjoyment of the game? No. It's pretty replayable, especially if you want to collect everything. There is some stuff to do after the story, but nothing expansive. I played the entire game with a controller and the controllers were tight and felt great. The collectibles have punishingly tight hitboxes just like old times, which I did not mind. While I'm glad I spent every penny I did on it, the price may seem daunting to people who are less enthusiastic to this genre of game. It might not have every creature comfort of modern games, but these choices are made by design. Such as having to switch characters and change outfits in two different places. It's meant to feel like games it takes inspiration from, and honestly it makes this game feel all the better. Did I mention the soundtrack is incredible? Anyways, buy this game. Play this game. Savour this game. Games made with this level of quality craftsmanship are once in a blue moon these days. If you're still reading this, buy the game already. Or, wait for a sale. At least wishlist it, come on.

Tony Hawk x Wave Race 64
This game was everything I wanted it to be. It doesn't take itself too seriously and ticks all the boxes for your classic THPS-esque game experience. It has the collectable letters and tapes in each stage, it has a park creator. Then on top of this it boasts a great soundtrack, but sadly it does get a little repetitive as there's only a half dozen or so songs. But the true delight of this game is split-screen local co-op that supports using multiple monitors. A dream come true. Fun story mode, fun battle mode. All around good time.

Doesn't Stand Up Next to the Subsequent Installments
Don't get me wrong, this game was fun boasting three decent games alongside two duds. However, the game selection isn't my main gripe with the game. It is very frustrating that I can't simply use one Jackbox game as the launcher for all the other Party Packs I have. Games like Hitman let players access all the missions they have purchased through one launcher. It would greatly streamline the process of running a night of Jackbox games if I could not have to close and open different packs to play everything we wanted to. Regardless, if you're looking for an installment in the Jackbox line-up to buy, don't pick this one. Party Pack 3 or 7 are far better packs. If you're desperate for Drawful, just get Drawful 2 on its own. If you want FIbbage just get Party Pack 2 or 4, if you want You Don't Know Jack just get Party Pack 5. I'm glad I got this game at the time and I had a blast, but it is the weakest of the bunch.

A Delightful Challenge
I have to start with game's sound design, it is a masterclass in how sound helps solidify the weight of every detail. The soundtrack as well is another element that solidifies this game's atmosphere, it is phenomenal. Now, when it comes to the game itself. It has tight controls and everything feels fair. All of this wraps up into a game that feels great to play. With enigmatic puzzles that will leave you scratching your head only to return later with the one piece of information you needed for a cathartic solution, this game is very satisfying to play. It begs to be played again and again, and even facilitates speedrunning for those brave souls who have the information do so.

VVVVVV is a great time. Runs on nearly all hardware, bumping soundtrack, intuitive level editor, fun game-play. Well worth the price, a great little game that is both for completionists and casual players alike. A very innovative platformer.

Alright. I'll be honest, the music in this game goes really hard. Instead of playing the game, just buy the soundtrack. Because, oh boy, is this game awful to look at.

It physically hurts my eyeballs when I play this game. It's nauseating. Also, there is no tutorial so if you don't magically know the controls, you're screwed right out of the gate. There are much better Sonic games out there. Generations and Mania are much better experiences that this atrocity.

I probably dump 50 or so hours into this game every year. There's always things to do. It is simply a delightful gaming experience.

A great FREE mod for Portal 2 that comes with a wonderful original soundtrack that is also FREE! Fun head-scratching puzzles and fun twists on the mechanics you know and love from Portal 2. Easily worth the ~7 hour playtime.
