The game is amazing.

It has one issue though, which is it's very tempermental on AMD graphics cards and crashes mine often.

I've only bought the game four times, so this is kinda a low positive opinion in Todd's books.

This is my second favourite game. It is a good game. I'm not much of a gamer and yet I've put a lot of time into it.

It's like ck2 but better for the most part; just not out long enough for all the amazing mods.

Early Access Review
Okay so I think the best way to put this is a bit of a little story.

Let's go back a bit in time. Several years ago I'm playing my heart out on Pokemon Sun, it's pretty awesome even if I'm frustrated being limited to the 3DS still and my favourite 'Mon is being ignored for any good Megas or included as a legacy mon. I also don't have Moon because well I've disagreed with the version split for a long time and it's a lot of cash for a few exclusive 'Mons. I don't have any of my old 'Mons I've grown to love with me ingame either because Gamefreak charges a subscription to simply store and transfer your older best friends. Then the Ultras hit. I'm reminded of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices of Gamefreak in that they release the same game again with a bit extra and you feel bad for not waiting for the "premium" experience but this time again they decided to make the new rehash split in half for good measure. Sometime later Pokemon Let's Go is announced/releases, It's a gimick game on a platform I don't have because of geographic issues and the fact that I'm sincerely not made of money nbd here anyways. And then Sword and Shield, oh boy Sword and Shield. It looks pretty cool from the teasers but I'm already seeing that it's not even as pretty as the zelda game that set visual standards for the console and well... I don't own a Switch. National dex fiasco happens, Breloom isn't going to be in there for sure I'm I didnt have a lot of hope for Floatzel and Gogoat either, decide if all three are in I'll buy the console and game I guess even if they're still running that sub model for having old friends. Game hits, none of the above fav mons, big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on hand guiding and easy mode and graphic problems. Gamefreak have been a company I've had issues with but stuck with because I love Pokemon but man have I lost the trust let alone hope I once had. I decide I'll just live without SwSh I guess unless they fix something big. We're not going to talk about charging for half the remaining missing mons f which my favorites likely still arent included.

Then, this indie game pops up on my radar. A couple youtubers I follow who make infrequent Pokemon vids highlight it, some even show some neat alpha footage. It's a solid looking competitor with designs I know I can learn to love as much, all the same base that I've lived for since childhood, and not only that but on PC and fully Multiplayer. From the start it was a where can I sign up experience. The more I learnt the more that confimed that, the devs are really passionate about this and the Temtems all feel like someone put passion behind making them even if I personally don't like some (looking at you Saku). I have also experienced the early beta stresses of early access games, and the early release stresses of MMOs so when I dropped the cash the moment I could here on steam I knew what I was getting into. And there was a bit of getting into, the first couple of hours were clunky and prone with issues, and even last night as of writing this on Jan 24 there was some gamebreaking bugs that the devs fixed that only made more of them that they had to interrupt us and fix. But as I said I have expected this and if you're not looking to deal with it right now wait a month and they should all be ammended.

I've almost beat the Second Island sitting here at 20 hours of gameplay, and I know the next one is at nleast another 10. The experience has been great so far, the NPC dialogue is smart and witty, the gameplay is engaging, the difficulty isnt a pushover and feels rewarding to overcome, the world is fun to explore, and my Temtems are my best friends. I wholeheartedly would recommend this game for anyone in my boots let down by Pokemon and looking for something to fill that hole in your heart because Temtem does for me.

Honestly kinda sucks. Very toxic. Play HoTS instead if you want a Moba. It's better than LoL at least. I only play it cos my friends do.

>Be Civ 5, arguably the best game in the series or any 4x.
>not have x64 windows release, nor ability for several dll mods to run at the same time.
>still 11/10
