Excellent couch co-op to play with at least a couple friends.

The best app of all time.

I actually use this professionally to select photos on Adobe Lightroom. Also to control my laptop (connected on the TV via HDMI) from the couch.

I had really high hopes for this game, so I'm sad I have give it a thumbs down. It really seems like the devs put a good effort into making this game, but it just doesn't live up to what it's selling, "a tribute to the old racing monsters such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage, and POD.". I actually turned on my old Nintendo Wii to play F-Zero GX, which is now 15 years old, and it beats Redout in pretty much every aspect, even the dated graphics.

Redout's tracks are kinda tight and don't really offer anything new, plus I didn't get the same sense of speed I've had with other similar games. The design, soundtrack and menu-voice are all pretty futuristic-standard, nothing feels very original. Learning curve is very steep, so steep that before everytrack you have to go on a trial-run before racing actual rivals, and when you do, you start off facing 5 (!!!) rivals. The limit seems to be 11, maybe in later challenges.

Crawl is a free-for-all 4-player game with a very unique play mechanic. Each play-through is not very long, which makes this a perfect party game. If you have 4 controllers at home and friends to play with, then I highly recomend this game.

This is the best local-coop game I've played in a long time. Coop games usually don't require this much colaboration and coordination in order to win each round, and most levels are insane fast. Gathering 4 people to play this is garanteed fun.

Excelent hack-n-slash game for people who miss the good old Diablo 2. The original artwork also gives the game a great logetivity, it still looks pretty good even though it's from 2012.

It's basically minesweeper with better graphics and some new code types that add a lot more variables to the "mine sweeping" process, except there is no random factor here. The lack of a random mode really makes this game incomplete, and shows kind of a lack of programing skills from the developers, or perhaps just laziness, if you consider that the game seems to be over very quickly (you'll finish it in about 2 hours or less with a perfect score), with not much of a replay factor. At least most of the levels are well built.

Even though I just kinda trashed the game, it's actually good. I got it on a summer sale and I don't reccomend buying it at full frice. I also haven't played the "Hexcells Plus", which should have been built into the original game, or at the very least sold as a DLC for a fraction of the retail price, instead it costs the same as the original.

I'd give it a 6/10, mostly for the clean design and the creativity of taking an old classic and taking it to the next level.
It could have had maybe a 7 or 8 score if it had a random mode, and even more if it was longer, or if it had at least ANY discount on the PLUS version, while having bought the original.

If you want an actual GREAT puzzle game in the mean while, truly worth your money, then try "Lyne".

Excelent casual puzzle game. Lots and lots of levels that slowly increase in difficulty and will keep you busy for a while.

This game will probably work best in an IOS/android platform, at least if you're used to playing some casual games on your smartphone (the game is also available for those systems, US$2.99 on the appstore). Either way, if you're into puzzles, this is one you won't regret.
