Early Access Review
I'm not exactly a puzzle guy myself, so i wasn't able to get into this game as well as others have, but i can still tell that there's a good amount of depth within these systems and that people that are more into this genre will probably enjoy it.

The game's sadly not very active anymore, but if you can find a friend or two to play this with, it's honestly a blast, even just hopping onto servers with bots to kill can be a fun time waster

While it can be a bit limited in some aspects, this is still pretty much the perfect tool to make use of if you don't have any experience coding and wish to create an FE-like of your own. Don't expect it to be a piece of cake tho, there's still a learning process you'll need to get through in order to make the most out of this program, so keep that in mind.

Sega delisting this masterpiece just so they are able to sell it through an overpriced mediocre compilation is quite infuriating

Eternal mode is honestly so abysmal that it loops around back to being amazing, everyone should get to experience it

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. It's pretty much a puzzle game at its core and the fun comes from experimenting with as many options as possible to see if they lead to a different outcome. The humor was also quite nostalgic in a way, it reminded me of the kind of stuff you'd see on the old internet, which is a plus on my book.

This game is exactly what you'd expect, a short Rareware-inspired collectathon, but i do think it handles platforming way better than the games it's inspired by, which makes this game worthwhile even if you're not very into scavenger hunts. The more limited movement mechanics compared to something like SM64 had me concerned at first, but they're put to great use throughout the game, with the final area in particular being an absolute blast. The puzzle platforming aspect of the game is also really fun (tho some particular puzzles can be a bit obtuse), and it feels rewarding to figure out how to reach those distant collectables, may it be through the intended way or by other unintentional means.

I do take some issues with the difficulty scaling, where most of the game is fairly easy (including optional content) and there's no punishment for deaths, only for the postgame area to feature both significantly harder platforming and no checkpoints on death. I feel like it could've been better built up to rather than going from 0 to 100 right away, but since it's an optional challenge anyway, it's not a massive deal.

A considerable improvement over the first game when it comes to mechanics and level design, the dash is a really fun addition that sets it apart, compared to the first game which played very similarly to super meat boy. The game is still quite short tho, but it's more fun to replay and it still goes on sale very frequently too, just like the first game, so i would definitely recommend it.

It controls quite well and the levels are fun, but it doesn't have a lot of meat on its bones. It goes on sale very frequently, so i would still recommend getting it if you're interested. Also the steam deck compatibility section is incorrectly labelled if you ask me, i played through the whole thing on my own deck and it works perfectly fine.
