本测评中英对照。

This is a gift I received from my friend. Pretty decently designed game. Some Pros and Cons for folks potentially interested in having it.
这个是我的好友送我的礼物游戏。游戏设计得还是不错的。下面是这个游戏我认为可能会对潜在购买者有用得优缺点

Pros: 优点:
1. It has abundant acts/bills/political spectra presented, so that there is always something for you to explore.
游戏里有大量得法案和政治光谱,只要你肯看文本,总有你想不到的。

2. The material is tightly related to nowaday politics, e.g. helicopter drop of money by the U.S. gov during this COVID pandemic.
这个游戏做的内容比较与时俱进,比如美国政府疫情期间的撒币刺激政策,在游戏就体现出来了。

3. It characterizes pretty well on that there is only limited resources (political capital) for a politician to initiate his political propositions.
这游戏还同时在一个季度之内设置了一个政治资本的分数,来模拟出一个政治家在有限的时间内只有有限的资源来完成有限数量的政治主张。

4. Turnout rate of the election is also captured in this game, which makes it quite realistic.
选举的投票率在这个游戏中也得到了很好的体现,这点对美国政治比较了解的人而言会觉得相当真实(毕竟特朗普上来,民主党支持者就认为是因为民主党民众的投票率低让他能够跳梁变挑梁)。


Cons: 缺点:
1. All the taxes in this games can be adjusted by an average tax rate only, especially the income tax that should definitely be a progressive one. This greatly limits the discretion of the player.
游戏里所有的税种全部只能调一个平均税率,尤其是所得税必然是超额累计制税率,但是游戏里你只能调整综合税率,你加水就全加,中产最不开心,而我游戏当中中产也是我的铁反对阵营... 在一定程度上这个设计限制了玩家的政策自由度。

2. Cabinet members can only be relieved from duty (aka. "man-over-board"), instead of changing their position within the cabinet ("a shuffle in the cabinet"). Besides, as the president of the U.S., is it possible that, let's say Biden can't even find enough candidates to carry out his political plans? The mechanism in the game simply annoys the play by sending "wrong" candidate for the cabinet and forcing the player to make unnecessary compromises on their appointments.
内阁成员只能被解除职务(或者他们忠诚度0以后直接辞职),不能在内阁部门之间调整人事任免,这个就很假了,现实中部与部之间的平调各国都不罕见。而且,身为美国总统,就说拜登吧,至不至于连足够数量的肯给他推进政策的人都找不出来,不是选民中不得民心、就是执政经验不行、再不就是忠诚度捉急,这个设计就是强行恶心玩家的;然后你开除一个人还会影响其他人的忠诚,神特么设计,毛爷爷说得团结大多数打击极个别都忘了?哦,好吧,设计者可能没看过毛选,但是川宝都知道要这么干的啊!!

3. Whenever there is a terrorist org, the play will receive report about them. I just can't do anything else but watch these bastards launch terror attack. I can weaponize the police and spy the other countries, but just can't arrest these terrorists? This is damned unrealistic. What annoyed me even more is that the punishment of the pop-up terror attack is quite harsh, like -15% on patriots' support.
最要让我吐槽的就是,全国的恐怖组织都能被监视,每次我还收到报告,okay他们不犯事儿我不抓,但是犯事儿了,也是不能取缔,不能逮捕,啥也不能,眼睁睁看着他们发动恐怖袭击,然后爱国群众支持率瞬间暴跌15%(还是我第二任期换届选举前)什么鬼...我能警察武装化,能监视其他国家,但不能逮捕国内恐怖分子...无力吐槽。

4. I guess the designer is not professional in finance/monetary banking. The financial policy in this game is quite boring. There is only QE, and that's it. Further, since there is no reasonable punishment on budget deficit, I get no positive feedback either by finally turn the deficit into a surplus and shrink the U.S. total debt in my second term. THIS means if you would like to play it for fun or for a cheesy way, you just ignore the budget balance, coz no one can stop you in the game.
我猜测设计者可能不是金融或者货币银行学方面的专家。这游戏里金融政策极其没劲,就有个量化宽松,就完了。而且,这游戏里对财政赤字没有啥惩罚,就一个下调信用评级的,但只要你豁出去想赤字,总能有人买你的国债,让你赤字,毫无真正的惩罚。我在第二任期第三年开始把美帝的赤字终于变成了每年700亿的盈余,债务规模开始下降,然并卵,啥好处没有不说,我还因为开源节流得罪了一波自己的票仓基本盘。所以这游戏一招鲜攻略就是甭管赤字,高福利高财政支出就完了,游戏里反正连财政赤字货币化都没有,你怕啥?就算有,前美联储主席,现任财长耶伦都告诉你了,内债不算债。手动狗头doge.

Though I list long cons, it is still a decently designed game and worth a try.
尽管我列了若干很长的缺点,但是这游戏还是很不错的,值得一试!
