Groundbreaking Brilliance.
Nothing can quite compare to the storytelling proficiency that is brought to Infinite. If you have the willingness to embrace the story and the characters, you will essentially fall in love, your emotions will be played with, and your mind will be blown. They strike a great balance in a culture of non-stop FPS, to create a really intense and engaging shooter that is really driven on the back of a constantly-evolving story that gets so big you may think it's even too big for itself. I will never forget my first play-through of Infinite. If you do not embrace what they offer, it may be a subpar game. But Irrational succeeded at everything they were going for. This was an amazing 10 hours of my life.

EDIT: Just bought the season pass, and can't wait to play the DLC's of this purely majestic game.

At first you might look at how many hours I've played this game. It's kinda misleading, and that's why I wanted to start with the fact, that I've played this game on the PS2 since I was a kid, and I still play till this day because I love it so much.
I will just start with the finishing line. I DO recommend this game to ANYONE who is a fan of the Prince of Persia series. IMO this is actually the best one in the whole franchise. It has everything - the prince's acrobatic capabilities (parkour, if you wanna call it like that), loads of fighting/combat combo's, a huge amount of different enemies to face during the whole gameplay, amazing sites and the list could go on forever. Personally I just love this franchise, that's why I'm recommending this game, but this game is just suited for anyone. There are so many puzzles to solve during the game for those seeking some "brain using" gameplay, and so many secrets to reveal about the prince himself.
Well, of course I should also mention about the soundtrack, which is amazing as well (DUH). They really nailed it by using some really nice metal music (especially Godsmack's tracks \m/).

EDIT: After playing it on the PC for a bit, I noticed quite late that the resolution is square, and you have black lines on the sides(YES, that's how much I got into the game, that didn't even notice those lines). There is actually some kind of mod, that you can find in the steam discussions, which helps you put your own resolution, but it's not flawless as well. Nothing relevant will be lost during the gameplay, but you'll get used to it soon.

I'd like to start with the verdict: even if you're not a fan of RPG's, you should play this game, cause it's one of a kind.
This game has already been out for 3+ years and still there are so many people playing it, and so many mods being released day after day, non-stop. The possibilities in this game (of course with a couple of mods) are endless. You can become the dream warrior you always wanted to be, or go and sit in the corner and read books to learn all the spells for the sorcerer/magician type of gameplay. You can get your bow and arrow and go hunt in the woods like a REAL MAN would. Not that many races to choose from, but each one of them has its beauties (again, with mods you can get lots and lots of new races). About the mods.. in short.. You can be a vampire orc jedi holding a 200 pound sword in one hand, and having an armageddon spell in the other one, fight 3 dragons and a giant chicken at the same time, while Jessica Alba is kicking the ass of a whole army of necromances zombies.. oh yeah, I forgot.. DRAGONS!!! Is there anything else to be said? Well yeah.. the dragons are quite an exciting feature in this game, and at first it'll be a challenge to fight one.. but later on, when you build up your skills, get better armor and weapons through quests (or craft them by yourself by smithing (ps, by upgrading smithing, alchemy and enchanting, you can get quite OP pieces of armor and weapons)) it'll take only a couple of hits with your sword, or some shots with your bow to eventually kill it.
TBH in the first hours of gameplay I wasn't that impressed about skyrim, and thought that I just wasted some money... but then I gave it a chance, and played for another couple of hours, and I was just speechless!!! So many awesome locations, with beautiful nature, structures, buildings, castles (you can see that the developers have worked hard), a huge world to explore, new places to visit, an endless amount of quests.. You can just get quests by reading a book, or meet someone on your way to somewhere, or hear some rumors from the bartender in your local town!!
As I said, one of a kind, 10/10.
