To encompass any kind of existing media and make it viable for audiences new and old, including fans of said media, is a gargantuan task. No matter the circumstances of release, with the 2.1 update, fixes, Phantom Liberty and all other extra content, CDPR has proven that this was indeed the birth of the AAAA game.

Fidelity achievements aside, they made a believer out of someone who had never bought into the hype, who was glad that people were held to the standard of the product they publish now instead of what they did in the past. I played this game at launch, and kept glancing at it at every major update.

But boy, was my mind blown with this game at its final version. There might be more games that fully immerse and engross me in the world, the story, the environment, the characters and the system, but I will never have the same epiphany I received from Cyberpunk.

From someone who has been playing video games for more than 2 decades, this is the best gift I have ever given myself.

I ventured into looter-shooters knowing absolutely nothing about the mechanics, complexity, diversity and beauty in each of them. And this game by far is the most mechanical, complex, diverse and beautiful game I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. From the story and the vast lore, to the strikes, to the raids, to the gear, to the weapons and their different uses, to even the currencies and the loot, and the competitive. Everything about this game brought the gamer hunger back which I had lost due to years of conditioning in a conservative household, and I watched with awe as every sight in its vast worlds bewildered me. This is pure passion, hard work and OH MY NON-EXISTENT GOD FIX THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARDLIGHT AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TRIALS AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MATCHMAKING AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SERVERS, BUNGIE. You know what? This game will slowly eat away at your sanity until you realise that you're in that corner, and the titan is charging at you at TEN PERCENT health, and a SHOTGUN TO THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FACE won't do ♥♥♥♥ becauuuuuuuuuuuuuse? BLOOM an-and LAG you stupid ass pussboi Hunter lol gg ez no re get rek't. Oh you thought the classes were balanced huh?
