I am having a great time with this game! Especially with the parallax fix that was pushed through, it makes it much more enjoyable. Already have some IL speedruns and will definitely be submitting them to speedrun.com. Once you get used to the controls and realize you don't need to hold the buttons to build swing momentum, you can get some great swings with nice smooth movement! The music and sounds also add a lot to the overall game. It definitely isn't perfect, but it is fun.

Just played through it! Took around 35 minutes for my first run on hard mode. Level 12 kicked my butt, but overall it was enjoyable. There were a couple of weird visual bugs, and the jumping felt strange, but overall it was fun. I missed a popcorn on level 4 and couldn't seem to collect it on a second playthrough of the level. Other than that, I liked the sound design a lot! The muting when behind a wall was a nice little touch and the caterpillar death sound was quite funny. Could be fun to go back through and map out a speed run!

Have absolutely loved this game from the start. I have spent hours playing and am glad I made the decision to purchase this. What's is really amazing is that the modding comunity has grown so much with the release of Aftherbirth+ and there are so many more possibilities for this game. It is a must have for all those players who love roguelikes and dungeon crawlers. It has plenty of content to keep you busy for a while, and although it doesn't have a very good multiplayer, it is fun to race along side friends who also have the game.
