A seriously amazing update to the universe. The move to 3D makes the game far different but also opens up so many avenues of play that it's astounding. This is one of my favorite multiplayer games as each character has a dramatically different style, far more than the original.

Do you like idle games with depth? Regardless of the theme, the structure, or the writing?

This game is a genius idle game with a lot of depth and maximization chances, but the story is clearly, hilariously, and unapologeticly an afterthought.

The game unfolds mostly naturally, but there's a few hidden pieces of information you need to seek out in the menus. Not all of the information you read will matter, but every *kind* of information will impact something. It's important to pay attention to the hints the game gives you and try to find what they're referring to....unless you're just gonna go to the wiki.

If you like idle games mechanically, this is the best one I've found. It's very much worth playing *and* supporting if you can.

This is one of the best puzzle-oriented Metroidvania/Metroid-likes ever made. It's inspired by Maze of Gallious, a Japanese exploration and combat game that predates Metroid, and a sequel to an amazing game in the same genre.

It is, however, extremely punishing. The base mechanics aren't hard to get a hold of, but the placement of enemies and the way the traps and puzzles work are designed to frustrate the player. It's fun for those who enjoy that kind of thing but if you don't want a sense of danger at all times, even in places that you should feel safe in, you'll want to avoid this.
