This game is actually very well done, story wise. It explores some challenging themes and I really enjoyed it. The game play was pretty good too - I didn't feel like any of the puzzles were too challenging but I still felt a sense of achievement when I cracked them. The artwork is gorgeous and I love the main characters.

You're probably wondering why I don't actually recommend this game, then, if I've just talked about how I really liked it. What I wouldn't recommend is buying this game at full price - if you can get it for free or heavily discounted, then do it. This game was so hard to actually get to run, it got to the point that I had to play it at low graphics on my AMD laptop because it wouldn't run on my Intel gaming PC. If you look at the community hub for this game as well you'll see the bug reports are several comments long and there hasn't been any follow up from the developers in a very long time. This game seems to have been abandoned, basically. It's a real shame because it is amazing but so many people can't play it or progress in the story because of several problems that should be solved by now. I was lucky I had another computer that actually could play it - a lot of people don't have that option.

In short, the story itself is amazing and the game play is pretty good. I still do not recommend it because of the difficulty I had actually getting it to run. It's current year. This should not be an issue. Don't buy this at full price.

This game is amazing and any description I give will not be enough. If you enjoyed Gone Home, you'll definitely enjoy this. And even if you're not really sure but you vaguely entertained the thought of buying it, it's so totally worth it. The characters are great and the story is intense. I was very drawn into it from the start, very invested in the characters and their lives. 10/10

This game is amazing. Who would have thought a game where you play as a bartender could be so good? The music's great, the art style is awesome, and the story is equal parts intriguing, sad and gripping. It should be on your list of games to play.

This game is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. The art is incredible, the music is amazing, and the story... Heart-wrenching. The feels, honestly. It is definitely worth playing, even if you only play it once and never again. 11/10, wonderful.
