Even though this game is lettered as a sequel, it is very much a standalone game originally coming to the steam store on its own and with minimal connection to the first game but this is part of what makes it amazing. The narrative,though naturally simplistic or overily complex in some kingmaker ways, as well as the wonderful music and studio ghilbi style inspired animation truely leads a future for anime style games making you want to play every single detail of the game including the parts that in other games would be simply time barriers such as building your kingdom and collecting citizens. I would recommend this game for anyone of mixed ages who really needs a game to want them to start enjoying games that are story based again and remind you how amazing a game truely can be.

Though a simplistic game in many ways, its story and the mini-stories it it self contains with how it connects to the real world are quite effective at making the game enjoyable and a fantastic experience. It is one of those games where you don't earn all the achievement to get something outside of the game but more to experience more inside of the game to full completion but in a way that brings even more effect of how we see the memories we collected.

One of the greatest retro and dnd games ever. It doesn't just try take some of the things in dnd and then super graphitize them and remove everything fun about dnd unlike those dnd mmos it is simply dnd with better graphics and quests. Same feel super fun you should get it.Wish I could upgrade to the digital deluxe edition because I got this on the humble bundle. Notice though be careful with certain quests as the level number may be wrong sometimes for some time like with that carrot quest that is level 16 but appeared like a five sending me to maya beach. One of the best games that I have ever played. As I said previously "The way that the squares have a little kinda messed up is both a charming thing in that it looks like how a kid would draw it and annoying". This game will take you on a emotional journey that ends with you having connected with what you just thought were geometric shapes and their different experiences. All in all it is a fantastic game and a must play that deserves to be recognized even to this day
