Another great game, although story-wise it's dropping off and taking a lot from it's first game's success with tons of references you wouldn't get if you didn't play through those games, it's a solid entry for fans

Not available anymore. I'd rate it meh more leaning towards negative. Although the game mechanics are sinple and fun, it's repetitive in everything. Enemies, quests, even the music.

Although there are worse games on Steam that are still available and I don't think it should have met that fate, it's not in my tastes

If I could rate something inbetween yes and no, I would. For now I lean more to yes

It's described and, as seen in other reviews, seen as a "psychological horror".
I understand the main theme of the psyche is guilt however it's not really something I find 'logical' for the character.

Art is great, some concepts and mechanics are good, storywise it's... meh. The reason I finished it was because it was so short, not necessarily because I wanted to know what'd happen next.

So in all, slight recommendation especially on a low price like right now

As someone who played Klonoa 1 to death, I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw this available. What a nostalgia trip it was. Too bad it was over so short, but the magic of that game remains tremendous. The ONLY thing I kinda miss was the loading 'you're going to the boss' sequences from the original, I thouight that brought a little bit of dread to it all which is instantaneous here unfortunately. Still, minor detail.

Klonoa 2 was a game on PS2, which I never owned, so I never was able to play that game. And I'm glad I did it here - although mechanically it's a better game and it's way longer, it just misses that magic from the first Klonoa game. And those boarding levels...

The remake brings great respects to I'm guessing both games. Fun detail, you can sometimes hear where they use 'new' sounds and kept some key elements.

Finally finished both, and tempted to give Klonoa 1 another whirl in hard mode. It's just SO good.
Now just Tombi 1 remake and my nostalgia library on Steam is complete

Singleplayer extremely frustrating. Absolutely no recommendation on that end.

Honestly the first three missions were kinda fun, but once you go to roguelike elements with the bomb and other ♥♥♥♥, dying and remembering codes and placements, the game doesn't allow itself to its randomness and quick deaths anymore.

Bizarre setting, but good game. Mind you, there's a bad bug in chapter 2 with a dead clock. Just wiggle around the arms a bit

A very good game. Inferior to Dragonfall despite what I've heard/read about it in about every way (I personally found decking a LOT worse in this version compared to previous 2), but it still has its moments.

I just wish they played a bit more on the team/environment in writing so I would perhaps give an ass about the environment/situation like I did with Dragonfall. I've also tried to do everything, still seems I missed some dialogue - was apparantly a known bug. I had the choice to continue or redo 3 runs.

The missions (runs) were fun but not as memorable as Dragonfall. Still better than returns and still a worthy purchase.

Great game, story has tons of twists, well-built world without being too overbearing, fantastic sub-plots, multiple paths possible. Good game all around!

As someone who played a fair share of D&D sessions by now, and some other TTRPGs, I went in completely blind. This game doesn't play at all like one of those. And honestly, I'm extremely happy for that.

It's a solid RPG and turn-based game. It's fun, intriguing and never really gets boring. There's fanmade campaigns ready, however the standard campaign is really solid as is as well. Some familiar tropes in TTRPG but with quite some twists.

Installing the next game: dragonfall
