I loved every second of this game. I could write some big long review...but there is no point. If you love Half-Life buy it. VR brings the HL universe to life. The ending is just...amazing.

A lot of the humor that made Job Simulator what it was...just seems missing. It does still have humor, but it isn't the same. It really feels like it has all the makings of a good game, but its missing something like a soul. It just feels like a collection of mini-games more so than what Job Simulator did. I never felt invested in the experience.

Overall there is no one thing I can point to as Owlchemy having done wrong, but as a whole it falls flat. I don't know if it is worth it at full price, but maybe when it is on sale?

There also seems to be a few bugs I ran into on vacation mountain. I finished knitting a hat but I can not remove it from the pedestal. Also when you do the puzzle mini game some of the pieces actually got pushed under the tray. If you don't notice where the puzzle pieces went, it could be very frustrating when you get to that last piece. Even if you do notice, you have to shake and twist to try and get the puzzle piece to clip back through the tray.

A lot of these kinds of games have a couple of songs that are a hit and fun to play. This is the first rhythm game where every song is absolutely dead on for the game. Every single song has to be experienced, and every single one will draw you into the game.

The game mechanics are super simplistic, this made me think I would hate it, I don't. The super simplistic game play is absolutely no holds barred fun. I fully recommend this for anyone with a VR headset it is a BLAST.
