EDIT: I'm serious guys, you are sleeping on one of the best games of all time

This game is sick as! I don't know why people aren't playing it, I guess the market is oversaturated? It reminds me of Dead by Daylight if you had more objectives than "repair the generator" but only had one monster.

You are sent into the jungle for tons of different missions ranging from assassinations to neutralising chemicals, although you always end up fighting NPCs on the way or at the objective the dialog is different for each one. The radio command always acts like they weren't expecting a Predator to show up on the mission which is kinda funny, but the fireteam doesn't have to shoot it at all to win either so it kinda makes sense.

The way EXP is given out during the match doesn't care if you win or lose, you just get a flat EXP bonus depending on how you win and you get EXP for doing almost everything like every single time your bullets hit the Predator. This means a lot of matches the winner doesn't get the most EXP which makes it not feel so bad when you lose.

There are multiple ways for the fireteam to win and they give different EXP bonuses, you can simply finish the mission and leave or you can kill the Predator but it self-destructs so only people who ran outside the blast radius survive (Predator gets EXP for everyone he manages to kill this way and can still "win" if he kills everyone with the blast) or you can kill the Predator before it enable self-destruct or even more rare/difficult you can defuse the self destruct with a short alien symbol matching mini-game thing. If the Predator body is secured you need to defend it from NPCs for a minute before the match ends.

This means there is actually a lot of variety in gameplay, as your mission changes on the fly. There are also multiple Predator classes and they have lots of different weapons to choose for their loadout making it feel like you aren't fighting the same enemy every time. Sometimes the Predator spends the entire match in the trees shooting the fireteam as much as possible (this seems quite effective), sometimes the Predator seems to not even be there until someone is alone and he dives in for the kill, even sometimes the Predator actually is having trouble finding the fireteam because they have been good with covering themselves in mud, sometimes the Predator runs in jumping and leaping despite everyone trying to shoot him and manages to kill everyone anyway.

The only problem I have with this game is the lack of players, which isn't even that bad because the game has Playstation and Epic store crossplay so there are always a few more people than just here on Steam. Definitely worth -50% in the sale for me.

EDIT: it is possible to play with crossplay shut off and then you will be waiting a long long time to find a match. There is no real reason to shut it off though.

Thinking about playing this game or looking at screenshots, makes me nauseous. When I actually play the game, I hardly even notice the visuals and there is no nausea. It's actually so smooth and so well put together that my brain automatically fills in the gaps. It reminds me a bit of a Pizza Tower aesthetic without having any references to Wario but that's probably due to the cursor when you can interact with items.

I didn't want to like this DLC. I wanted more Kakarot centred content such as Dragon Ball Super quite badly instead but it's too good to dislike. Made with all the quality and attention to detail as the base game, this DLC completes the love letter to Dragon Ball Z that is this game. I have no idea how people are claiming to beat this in an hour, I spent longer than that as young Trunks.

The only missed opportunity (besides the obvious lack of Dragon Ball Super tie-ins) is Trunks' sword. I would have loved for that to be one of the things they showed behind the scenes in this game, the canon story for where Trunks gets his sword.

The best way to play the rules of the first season of Blood Bowl. Blood Bowl 3 will be great but it will be based on Blood Bowl second season rulebook unlike all previous Blood Bowl. So in a way this is the definitive version to play classic Blood Bowl. All official teams are here and there are hardly any changes. The AI is mediocre but it is very easy to find other humans to play with. The DLC system is trash so make sure you grab the Legendary Edition, it is the only way to get the DLC at a price that is worth it.

Really nice! You can extract the art from the pdf too, the page numbers are on a separate layer from the actual artwork, it even includes the original box artwork from 1995 shown on the store page here at 2480 x 1398 pixels. Over 100 pages of nice artwork plus a short story at the end.

It's really genius how they made the combat because the enemies have hitscan weapons and you can't dodge projectiles, every time you take damage you enter into a short state where all damage you dish out heals you and the closer you are to your target the more you heal. So basically if you just play it like modern DOOM and run and gun constantly, double jumping, wallrunning, sliding, dashing, grappling, you stay at good HP. Not to mention you have basically DOOM powerups in your pocket with just little cooldowns. The difficulty settings are good as well and can be changed at any time if you start getting too powerful.

Then there is the loot and customisation system WOW! The guns feel unique and you can modify them drastically. For example you can take a double barrel shotgun, make it shoot slugs, give it a long barrel and a scope and turn it into a double barrel sniper. Or you can take that same gun and make it shoot regular shotgun pellets, or a ricocheting slug that is less accurate.

There is a lot more I could talk about but those are the things that impressed me.

Was worth the wait for the amazing amount of post launch support. The game is massive, there is so much stuff to do compared to MudRunner that I am blown away.
