As someone who played the first game back when it came out in 2012, I love this game.
The gameplay is fun. The NPCs/Pawns are fun. The physics are fun.

Now, there's a lot of misconceptions about this game which I'll quickly have a say about here too.

This is just Incorrect. while all the microtrasactions are dumb and should absolutely not exist, you can only buy them once each AND you can get all of those items in game for free.

While this is technically correct, you do actually get 2. 1 for manual/autosaves, and 1 for any time you sleep at an inn. So if you can, just sleep everytime you make it to a town.

No, you don't. You can get the items, while rare, in the game itself. And if you, like me, think you should just be able to edit whenever you want, there's a handy, easy mod you can get that lets you buy 99 refreshable of the item needed from the first merchant you see for 10 gold each.

The game is good, the company is just a bit goofy with these microtrasactions, but you DON'T NEED THEM!

For me this game really scratches that Starship Troopers itch, while having some solid co-op gameplay. It feels like if Risk of Rain 2 and Starship Troopers had a baby.

As someone who played it 10 years ago, can say it is pretty fun now. Surprisingly less cheaters

It's going to be good, a lot of the issues people are complaining about are due to the fact that the game ISN'T OUT YET. Contrary to what people are saying, it will have more classes for each character after launch, more map and weapon variety, more cosmetics and a way to customise your character post creation.

Edit: You can now customise your character whenever you want and about 70% of crashes have been fixed, day 1 patch will fix even more so come on board

Fresh take on a Battle Royale, movement kinda like apex (momentum and slides) Obtaining gear and upgrades mid game is kinda like Spellbreak. This is just different enough to be good among Battle Royales. Don't go expecting PvE or a story though, purely a PvP game

Perfect game for just chilling out, you'll need to have patience and if you play with friends, they will have to be too

Look, the game had a rough launch, but is still one of the best games in the last 5 years

Remember, since it's early access, you are paying to test the game and play it early. There are many bugs, but they will be fixed over time. Don't see this as it's release date, this is the day you can pre-order the game and get a free test build

If you like physics, action and a bit of gore, this'd be the game for you
