I'm honestly having a hard time finding a single bad thing about this DLC. From the art to songs everything here screams quality. As of writing this I have already played through all the songs three times and never thought "yea imma skip this one". IMO all 21 (counting diomedes extended) here are all good. From how it sounds to the charts themselves. The problem I had with V LIBERTY I was that most of the songs sounded very generic and samey especially when it came to the pop songs. Here in VL2 each song has something unique going for it making them enjoyable and distinct from each other. The UI theme here is just beautiful man Rinotuna and SB_ENGINEER did their thing with his one. Lore lovers will also get huge satisfaction here with the long awaited return of Lirulu and the twins as this arc's antagonists. All in all this DLC pack is a must buy, imo I would even say perfect. This is their best DLC so far, idk how they're gonna top this one. I'm giving this one an [Ayo👄 out of 10]

i'd say it's better than the original in most parts. the only negative thing i can say is some of the voice acting for some characters doesn't hit the same as it did in the original. i don't wanna say much much here because i feel like Silent Hill 2 is a game that's better experienced on your own

i haven't been more let down for a mainline djmax dlc ever which is very unfortunate. Before release on a live stream the devs mentioned V LIBERTY had a similar vibe to V EXTENSION II which imo is one the best DLCs in this game. I find it hard to see any similarities. DJMAX has recently been on this wave of adding more "studio" produced songs into the game which i dont think fit well into a rhythm game. At first i want opposed to the idea of DRIVE dlc but after playing them here it just doesn't feel right to play. Its better to just listen and enjoy those songs rather than play them in a rhythm game. I dont have much to say about the UI theme, it's just pastel barf. One thing i did enjoy about this pack was the charting for higher difficulties, those were pretty fun. V LIBERTY has some of the most forgettable songs in all mainline dlc, i dont see anything here that justifies the 30 dollar price tag. wait for a big discount or play it off someone who has it if you have the clear pass. I hope this doesn't reflect the quality for future V LIBERTY releases because this is a rough start. (some stand out songs are Follow Me, Basement, Broken Sphere, Diomedes, O'men, Rhythm in my head & Synchronize)
