Mech Chip is a simple "one-bit" metroidvania where you, a chip, discover new powers and abilities through pilotable augmentations. The game is good for a one night play, or a casual two sessions of fun. The mechs are extremely varied and thus offer dynamic play, movement, and attack options. The bosses are decently difficult and will take a couple tries to master, but sometimes limit your mech options though there are interesting mech-switch combos. Most of the bosses are a fun challenge. In all, Mech Chip isn't a purchase you'll regret, offering at least a night's worth of fun for a reasonable price.
