The Cycle has a great foundation for a Tarkov-esque shooter, great gun play, beautiful world and satisfying gameplay loop.

That is all unfortunately brought down by bugs, hackers and terrible gun/equipment balancing.
The free to play nature of the game means cheaters have free rein. Something needs to be done to address this, as well as how strong basic equipment in against the higher tier gear.
Until the above is fixed I'd recommend not getting yourself hooked.

As an aside, I'd like to mention that if you are someone who prefers to play these games solo/doesn't have anyone to play with, be aware that the late game quests pretty much require you to squad up with two others to complete.
It's not really practical for these late game quests to be done without team mates which pains me, missing the days where I could play a shooter solo without friends required. Bring back PUBG solo FPP someone pls.

My closing thoughts, I'd just like to mention that in two and a half weeks I have dunked all the above hours into this game, and a week ago said I wouldn't be playing Tarkov's wipe (which is currently happening as I type this).
However, the combination of all the above problems have left me in state of frustration, despondency and pining for progression satisfaction. My friends have stopped playing because of the first three issues and because of that I can't finish my quest lines.
I am now going to play this wipe of Tarkov instead of Cycle, until things improve in this game, Tarkov will be my number one.
