In a dungeon there lived an icy, pointy imp named George Picklesworth. Not a moist juicy, slippery dungeon, filled with sausages and an oozy smell, nor yet a succulent, dank, frosty dungeon with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was an imp-dungeon, and that means warmth.

One day, after a troubling visit from the gremlin Tiffany Ashton, George leaves his dungeon and sets out in search of three damp eyebrows. A quest undertaken in the company of elves, aliens and fluffy wizards.

In the search for the gremlin-guarded eyebrows, George Picklesworth surprises even himself with his braveness and skill as a dentist.

During his travels, George rescues a cucumber, an heirloom belonging to Tiffany. But when Tiffany refuses to try bouncing, their friendship is over.

However, Tiffany is wounded at the Battle of World War IV and the two reconcile just before George engages in some serious bouncing.

George accepts one of the three damp eyebrows and returns home to his dungeon a very wealthy imp.
