Both CS2 and CS:GO were legendary. It has engaging gameplay, whether you solo queue or play with friends. My only problems are the steep learning curve and a market full of elusive skins. If you want the ORIGINAL search and destroy shooter, Counter-Strike is the one.

Career mode is challenging (especially when you forget to purchase some component for a customer). Free Build is my favorite mode, as it allows you to experiment with many different parts!
