Eyes, windows to innermost thoughts, gouged and extinguished, plunging him into a realm devoid of light. On the morrow his fragile frame dangled from the noose, a macabre ornament adorning the gallows. And when the third day dawned, his essence dissolved into a myriad of scattered ashes, drifting upon the currents of the majestic Tigris River, forever merging with its timeless flow —a testament to the ephemeral nature of existence and the inexorable march of destiny.
