It's essentially Dragalia Lost on consoles for me. :)

Finally 100%'d it and at 69 hours of playtime. Nice!

Pretty fun combat. Musashi and Jalter are both there, so that's a huge plus for me. I wish there was a free mode to pick playable characters in and mess around freely. It's so limiting to play as other servants for such a short time, which is pretty much my biggest gripe about the game, so far. Hopefully the updates and DLC will add something like that.

While the PC port is a bit of a technical hiccup (small hitches and whatnot), the whole game is fantastic.

Positives:
- Great story and cast of characters. They all blended well together and fit the themes of what the story is going for.
- The combat is really fun and addicting. I thought that there wouldn't be a Tales game that would top Graces/F or Berseria (third-person view combat). Of course, this is just my opinion and I'm no big veteran Tales player, but I enjoyed it a lot more as a casual player of sorts.
- The game's soundtrack is also really great to listen to. Also, can't stop putting HIBANA on repeat like I did with Berseria's BURN.
- The game's visuals are also nice, at least for a Tales game. In my opinion, the best the series looks to date since character.
- Hootle's the best.

Well, that's enough positives, I suppose. Time for some minor negatives:
- Oddly low LOD along with NPC and texture pop-ins. (Apparently, this is also a thing on consoles.) This can be be remedied somewhat with mods and whatnot.
- Small, random hitches during cutscenes or just traversing through areas. (Not sure if anyone else had it, but it was a consistent thing that kept occurring from start to finish for me)
- Some typos were spotted.
- Needs more Hootle moments. (There's plenty, but I want more.)

Years back, I've played Gods Eater Burst on PSP and I had a great time with it. Hearing that there was going to be a sequel, God Eater 2, I really wanted to play it. Sadly, there wasn't a localization anywhere in sight for the game and had to kind of give up hope for it coming over.

But now, I can finally play the game after all this time. And already I'm having a blast with the game and filled with plenty of nostalgia from the first game. Of course, there are plenty of upgrades and improvements over from the PSP game, for sure, and I'm glad they're there. The combat feels much smoother (thanks to the 60fps upgrade for the PC version), the character models look much better (duh), and the areas to hunt in have also been updated and look better than I remember them. Not to mention the new Blood Arts are great to use. Even if they do make missions a lot easier, they're qiute flashy. Now, as I'm typing this, I haven't gone too far into the game (around difficulty 3 missions), but I definitely like what I've played so far.

Now, I don't usually give out reviews, so I don't have a scoring system and whatnot for this, but for what I've played, so far, I'll give the game an 8/10. I may raise this score (if I remember to) once I get near the end or around post-game where the real stuff starts to get crazy.

Oh and we get God Eater Resurrection for free with the purchase of God Eater 2: Rage Burst. So I'm very, very satisfied with having them.

Oh and I rather not compare this with Monster Hunter. They're both great game series with their own things. It's best to keep them as separate as possible to avoid conflict.

Edit: Yes, yes it's sad that this port has Denuvo and I hope that Bandai Namco/Shift can change/update the game so that it doesn't support it in the future.

Chlotz: "All right... It's only because of the world threat, but I give you my approval!"
Protagonist: "I'm glad I have your blessing to make Children with your sister."

I'll never get tired of this interaction at all. X'D

I've already played the Vita version, so I'm just going to go ahead and give it a thumbs up since I enjoyed it a lot.
