All of my game time was spent trying to fix the same crash and get past the first five minutes of the campaign. If a fix isn't released soon, I'm getting a refund.

It's hard to give a game a good review if you can't even play the game. Every single time I click play on the launcher it gives me the same error message. After searching online for a solution, I have been unable to find a fix so I have no other choice but to not recommend this game until they decide to get their act together and fix it.

I can safely say this is one of the best real time strategy games I have ever played. The accuracy of the history, units, commanders, map etc is unprecedented and I have never seen so much detail in a strategy game. Each country has it's own real military commanders and you're offered decisions that you can either make or ignore which caan change the course of history. You can influence other nations, declare war, trade and embargo them. Each new save is always a new experience, especially when playing as a different country each time, whether it be Germany, Soviet Union, Nationalist China, Australia, Siam, Sweden or whatever country you want. Each country has their own strategic and industrial advantages and disadvantages and creates a challenge every playthrough. I feel that although the vanilla game is brilliant on its own, it just isn't the same without the major DLC packs. However I believe that purchasing the DLC was a worthwhile investment. There really isn't anything negative I can say about this game, apart from the occasional crash and the lack of a multiplayer game browser, making it more difficult to get involved with others. I rarely give a game a 10/10, but the pros most certainly outweigh the cons so Hearts of Iron III gets a well deserved 10/10.

A great game. Considering I was unsure as to whether this game would be worth it because the combat focuses around the melee combat, I was really turned off about this game after I had played Dead Rising 2. But they actually made the melee combat work here and I am impressed. Overall, it's a great game and I would rate it 9.5/10.

Overall, great game, brilliant story line, fun, interesting and unique gameplay and world, I definitely recommend this game for all who love FPS' and RPG's.

A great game, campaign is brilliant, the new 'Survival' game mode is absolutely amazing and the multiplayer is pretty good except for the odd aimbot every now and then. It's worth the money!

This game is ♥♥♥♥ without the gore and stuff. The removal of the gore took away a major part of the gameplay.
