I went into a local gas station to pay for gas because the card reader on the pump was broken, but when I went inside the man behind the counter was crying. I don't know why he was crying, and I didn't want to ask so I just put money on the far left side of the desk and drove off. I think about it a lot. This was really late at night and nobody was around. Did he get a phone call with bad news? Had some horrible tragedy befallen this humble shopkeeper? Either way I regret not getting the answers. I've been back to the gas station on several occasions, but he was never there. I have gone at the same time as this occurrence and other times throughout the day several dozen times at this point. He was nowhere to be seen. An unsolved mystery vanished without a trace and I am left to wonder what could have been, just like us.

I didn't want to be one of "those guys" who brag about their "intellect", but I would be truly lying if I didn't say that I'm on a different level than the majority of the population, but it's not really a blessing, it's more of a curse. Once woman find out, they latch on like leeches because they know I might be a millionaire someday. Other men become defensive and try to fight me with their fists. I'm not a fighter and yes, I probably would be a better lover to your girlfriend because I'm able to think on their level just as much as other numerous levels. And it's scary sometimes how deep my psyche goes sometimes.
