This game crashes more than any other AAA title I've played in recent years. I thought 40 bucks was a good price for it since it's been out awhile, but apparently this port is extremely unstable. I get crashes in the first interaction with Connor, the first interaction with Kara, and the first interaction with Marcus, all in different random spots with no control when it happens. The only fixes I see are to revert to a previous graphics drivers from months ago, but that would ruin a lot of the other games I play currently just to play this title. The game defaulted to 720p 30fps at start with .7 res scale, so I manually changed all my settings to native 1080p, 60 fps, and 1 res scale with low video settings and the game runs smooth on these settings at 60fps (besides the crashes) so why does it default otherwise? Why not give me options before the first encounter on video settings?

With new graphics cards released like the 3000 series, you'd think NVIDIA would care more about these types of big money AAA games (especially ports from consoles) to be more stable, but they can't even get the cards out to actual members of the community because of botting issues with scalpers and miners.

I've seen some streamers and YouTubers play through this and loved the variety in game choices. I don't get the choice to play. I even wanted to stream this on discord or twitch so my friends could watch and play with me to make dumb decisions or have a group play session but now I don't even want to attempt that with the frequency of the crashes. Wait until this is properly supported if you are interested, better to watch it then play it on PC currently. Really was hoping to play and was highly disappointed.

I have a 1060 6GB, 2700x, 16GB of 3200mhz speed ram on a 1TB HDD for reference on my specs. Everything was up to date as of 12/21/20.

CS:GO Review
Honestly with the modern games of today taking little to no effort past jumping across the map with a shot gun and a jet pack, CS:GO Stays ahead of the curve by actually sticking to a more skill based game and strategy oriented shooter. If you don't call out to your team where people are at, you loose the round. If you can't aim, you loose the round. If you can't understand how to peek a corner or use equipment to the best of its abilities, you loose the round. It's skill to its max, and even if you dont like the competitive skill based aspect, community servers are still thriving and game modes like surf and zombie escape are still alive and well today. Overall one of the greatest games to bless the PC world.
