Originally I had this as a negative review, because there were glaring issues in the form of them changing how the game works from the playtest, to the release. The only difference right now is that of how the skill tree system works, where it is behind a lootbox system, but upon trying it, it probably takes at best as long, or longer than the playtest version to get what you wanted, but it is not behind a premium currency to get the lootboxes. They have reverted the change where items could only be brought into the match at the start through a crafting system that required you to log in daily to collect materials, back to finding items during the match.

The server quality day one was atrocious but it seems to be better than in the playtest now. I'd recommend this game for anyone who likes dead by daylight but it's more light-hearted and games are shorter.

I'm patiently waiting for a game in this genre to be fun to play and doesn't completely rely on the dopamine release of snail-paced progression to get a shiny new thing which doesn't live up to expectations. I can't recommend this, because that's not a game, it's work under the guise of a game, except you lose money if you want to feasibly see any progression in a reasonable amount of time.

The game is very fun, but the community is so cliquey and gate-keeping. Even in community servers, people treat the game as though it is life or death, and will spare no second to tell you all your wrongdoings, despite possibly doing the exact same thing, but since their rank is higher, there was "a lot more thought" put in to their execution thus making it justified. It's really unfortunate because the game has a solid core, just no large enough community to dilute the toxicity that has been festering since over the years from the people who've played this game day-in day-out since the mod.

The ambience and music of the final stage has to have been the best I've experienced this year.
