Only reason I own this now is cause it was gifted to me, otherwise I wouldnt give more money to the lying dev. They actively are choosing to ignore and screw over early supporters like me and others on itch.io and arent even acknowledging us. They claim there wouldnt be any difference between the itch version and steam version other than the leaderboards and then wont even say anything about giving itch version mp and refuse to acknowledge us while charging the same price on both storefronts. What a scum bag.

The best game i've ever played. This game is almost a masterpiece imo, the only shortcoming it has is that after the first bosses they become lackluster, most feeling like a waiting game. Nonetheless Everything else is just perfect. The gameplay is fun as hell, the storytelling, the art, the music god the music is so amazing. I still love to listen to a playlist of the cassette tape songs over and over. This game handles its dark themes so well it brought me to tears multiple times. If you havent you should play this game, you won't regret it!

This game is an actual mess on launch day. Impossible to coop despite the devs claiming to avoid that issue with allowing p2p and yet cant coop. They purposely never mentioned about epic games service being forcibly downloaded, how convenient. Then the settings are pretty poor for keybinds and gameplay option, performance is awful, watching my friend actually attempt a mission and the ai is awful and stupid, a pretty sucky map layout. Other negative reviews go into it better but this is just bad and crappy, especially the things they promised in trailers is what really makes it awful.l Cause it is early access. Regardless I give it a week, if the coop isnt even at least fixed to try it out with my friends im refunding this game. It's clearly just as bad as the games they promised not to be.

Edit : Coop got fixed, tried it with friends, game still sucks lmao. Character control feels awful, hunter killers are stupid, ai is stupid and just spawns in on you. They feel robotic and everything is so just boring and unfun. Definite refund. Sucks this game became what they say they wouldnt be, a pile of crap.

Honestly just a fun experience to go through. The story is servicable, but enough to keep me going even if the break between act 2 and 3 made me a bit lost on the overall plot. But even so it was still a fun and nice experience, and the level designs and music were both great! The sandbox of weapons also feel fun and great, lots of them inspired by other games and their guns but it doesnt hamper them. Though the phantom rifle is pretty op lol.

This game was a wild ride from start to finish and I loved every bit about it.

This game is definitely not worth 20 dollars.
I bought the original version and it made me kinda excited for this. So when I was finally able to play it I was happy.
but that went away very quickly when I started to realize it was a super linear mess of a story and game.

For starters the game is 2 hours long, I played on Revenge difficulty, the second hardest difficulty they allowed and even that had very little challenge. The AI had terrible accuracy, and the only difficult part of the bosses were that they had a bunch of health so you had to run around shooting them for 5 minutes. But that can be trivialized with special gun ammo.

Then for some reason the dev just decides to randomly drop you in the middle of a story with no backstories for any of the characters in the game, and I guess expects you to accept it, but it just makes it so connecting to anyone is hard and you don't understand why you're there or what you're doing

The combat is quite basic. It seems like it'll be interesting as you're given a bunch of abilities, but you'll quickly realize none of it matters since the AI just move around shooting you and missing 90% of the time, and your guns are so effective they can easily do all the work for you. And the dev put an abundance of ammo so you'll never run out.

The game is so linear. You move basically hallway to hallway with no exploration. To find "hidden" stuff, all you have to do is look to the left of where the path is. They love to put a waypoint in front of you every 5 seconds, even in the stealth section they just tell you what to do . It's pretty disappointing how much hand holding is done.

Of course the Dev has to put his pervertedness as micro transactions, which is just disappointing on top of everything else for this game. And his pervertedness goes on in game since he's addicted to having you look at the butt of the mc who for some reason fights in a shirt and jeans.

Yeah this game does not deserve its overly positive reviews. Just because it's made by a solo dev doesn't excuse all the things wrong with it.
