Been looking forwards to The Finals for a while, and have been blown away by how good it is.

I'm excited for the future of this game.

I couldn't recommend this game more to anyone looking to sink time into a fighting game.

Every character is viable even at a high level, and it's complexity will keep you learning and evolving as you play.

Really fun and is a lot harder to master than it initially appears. The devs are great too!

Feel like I should say that you DO NOT need to buy a single Praxis Kit. I easily had enough to complete my build, with some left over to ♥♥♥♥ around with experimental stuff at the end. This was without the additional ones you can gain from the Season Pass and other stuff too.

I've really enjoyed the game. Solid gameplay, multiple playstyles, replayablility, good length. Always felt like there was a lot of choice how you got around and appoached things. Side quests were particularly good, as they all felt fleshed out and with meaning.

My only major gripe is that the ending felt pretty underwhelming and hollow to me, and there wasn't much variation in the environments.

Good
* Fun cast
* Great gameplay
* Easier to get into, yet retains a high skillcap
* CFN is great. Really easy to find and watch replays of top players to improve your own game.

Bad
* Backstory mode kinda disappointing (average of 3-5 slideshow scenes and fights per character)
* Servers are currently struggling, causing semi-frequent disconnects
* Survival mode grind for colours is silly (50 matches in a row. Really?)
* Feels pretty barebones with a lack of arcade, challenge or trial modes.

Others have had problems with sticks and performance. My TE2 works fine and I had some seemingly random framedrops during some singular matches until I tweaked graphical settings. Other than that I've had no technical issues.

Personally I'm really enjoying the PvP matches which is why I recommend it, however if you're not sure you're going to enjoy this aspect then you should give it a miss atleast until the March update.
