This game was supposed to be a retro fighter in the same vein as games from the Neo-Geo Pocket (Color). The game had so much potential, but was abandoned by the developer(s). Steam even has a note now saying that the last update was 5 years ago. It's not worth buying.

THIS GAME IS PURE WIN!!

Right, where do I start? Racing-wise, it's very simplistic - Arcade-level racing. Mostly hold down the pedal and go sort of racing. The choice of cars so far is just right, even with Honda missing (and even if they can't secure the licenses, it's always possible that they can stick them in there without the branding.)

The difficult to master part is tuning your machine fully. There is so many ways to handle this and none of it is wrong, per se. The game of tuning is always going back and refining the feel of your ride.

The game is missing a multiplayer component, but then again, that was the case for some of the earlier entries, such the Dreamcast titles.

All in all, I recommend this game if you are one for simple, fun, yet deep racing games. There ought to be more games like the TXR franchise.

1) This game has been available for free for 22 years as an open source title.

2) This game does have bonus content available from sc2.sourceforge.net in the form of the Precursors Remixes. Once downloaded and in the content/addons directory, enable them in the Setup Menu

3) This game does not have the Linux binaries available in Steam for Deck/Linux users. Luxtorpeda can fix that.

4) There is an HD Project as a mod available on The Bone Pit (a mod repository found on SourceForge for UQM content). This same Repo may have certain missing features not included in this release.

The gameplay is like how I remember it. Only thing that's missing is the Color Mode, but I think that's Xbox Exclusive. Yes, there is a disclaimer. No, it doesn't bother me. Game is still the fast paced and tough Neo-Geo fighter I played on the Xbox.

"Sega Racing Classic 2" is just Daytona USA 2 Power Edition, without Mitsuyoshi Takenobu's vocals. Unlike Virtua Fighter 2, where they put in both VF2 and VF2.1, this completely ignores the somewhat superior original title. Also, Sega is retaliating against Sega of America employees for their organization.

It's just Generic Brand Hearthstone.

Absolutely disappointed. I thought it was going to be something more tabletop-like, like a Force of Will Clone or CFV.

This is hard to recommend in 2022.

So, FarSight Studios lost the WMS license a while back to Zen Studios for PinballFX 3. Not every WMS table exists with PinballFX, but a few classics are there.

In the mean time, FarSight still has the rights to distribute Stern and Gottleib tables. Stern has many other games since the most recent found in both Pinball Arcade and Stern Pinball Arcade. Their promise to deliver "classic pinball tables for years to come" is broken and both Stern Pinball Arcade and Pinball Arcade is abandoned.

The configuration utility is bugged out on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. It throws an exception when you try to save settings.

If you're going to get into Pinball, go with PinballFX and/or Zaccaria Pinball... or just do the yar-har and download Visual Pinball X and PinMAME.

Hacknet if it were an idle game with actual coding skills.

This game is like a wonderful mix of something like Heretic or a Build Engine game blended up with the TV show "Queer Eye". It's fast, furious, fabulous, sassy, and not as gory as some FPS games. Ten outta ten experience.

This game tries to be a spiritual successor to Compile's excellent Devil's Crush for the PC Engine/Turbografx-16 and it shows. The music has the same sort of sound and the game play is very familiar.

So, this game is a pinball game. But unlike the Pinball Simulators of today (PinballFX, Pinball Arcade, Zaccaria Pinball), this is designed to be an original and frenetic homage to the age when video game pinball was a variety of titles from Nintendo Black Box Pinball to DICE's Pinball series and Epic Pinball. Tucked away in between these release years was the Crush series - three games developed by COMPILE, the makers of Puyo Puyo, and published by Naxatsoft.

How is this a homage? The center piece is The Priestess, Lilith. Much like the original Devil's Crush, which had a feminine centerpiece to destroy, this game counts it as a target. In addition, the theme is just spot on - the best way to describe it to today's era is if Doom or Splatterhouse had a pinball. This game also plays like a dream. Unfortunately, there is no DAVIDWHITE cheat to get an ending cutscene. Sorry Game Sack fans.
