This game is good, no great. no, really!
I mean, why haven't you purchased it already?!?!
fighting bugs (we're the aliens, not them!) making a factory, building all the things
getting et (eaten) by the bugs when we pollute their world too much. but that's like, obvious right?
the game itself is great, and the mods available for the game are pretty darn nifty too.
Seriously, why haven't you picked up the game yet?

Long, Complex, and fun
Something to watch while you do your stuff during the day
or something to gaze at when you've got no energy to do anything
Personally, I love the game for all its complexities and helping me through my day.

A game very hopped up on realism. living in space, have a limited amount of energy in your backpack for sustaining your life. (apparently, you don't need to eat/drink/whatever)
you are apparently a little shorter than 1.5 meters tall, as the standard large ship door is 1.5 meters per side, and at least ten centimeters shorter to get that cute arch thing going.
Plus, you are ungodly strong. sure, you've got a backpack that you can fit yourself into (holds 400 litres on realism mode) and have NO mass limitations whatsoever. (a 400 litre backpack holds about 136 steel plates, give or take, which means including yourself you're toting around about 15 metric tonnes)

But even aside from the cartoon physics, everything else is very REAL physics. ships that you build have mass. lots of it. to the point that if you land on one going too fast you're a pink stain on the landing gear. (speaking of which, when are they going to add stains like that?)

two ships going towards each other at relatively high speeds (104 meters per second is VERY fast, no matter how small the number looks) the one with the greatest mass will retain the most velocity. ...and probably have the most pieces still intact too

As the game is still in Beta (or alpha maybe?) new things are being added all the time, including the nifty new merge blocks! put two ships together into one ship (and I don't know if it's an easter egg or not, but a lot of the cargo ships look like they're designed to fit together like lego)

Honestly, awesome game

for those TL;DR folk, I'll sum it up for you

Minecraft, in space, with real physics. Awesome.
